15 years as a commercial photographer, now rebuilding toward $100K in new AI-driven revenue in 180 days. Zero technical background. Sharing my whole journey.
Today, I've made the decision to start the transition from commercial photographer to AI entrepreneur, and I wanted to give you a little bit of insight behind this endeavor.
Personal agents have defined 2026 but now,Multiplayer AI agents are here. and honestly they are the future. I can guarantee you Claude and ChatGPT will be following soon.
Introducing Team Bots, shared AI teammates that learn as your team works with them.
Give your Team Bot the skills, plugins, and credentials it needs for its role, then work with it in Slack or Grok Bot.
After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI?
I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev
• 20-200x faster
• 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free)
• Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions
AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution
Today, I've made the decision to start the transition from commercial photographer to AI entrepreneur, and I wanted to give you a little bit of insight behind this endeavor.
The truth is, I'm nervous. I'm scared. I've spent my whole adult life in one industry, and I've got a family counting on me. I need to make changes, so I'm going for it.
So here's the plan. I'm calling the new venture SUPERFRIEND AI. My intention is to document the whole journey. The pretty parts, the ugly parts, the struggles, the wins, the lessons.
That goal: six months, $100,000 in profit from AI consulting, concierge work, and built systems for other businesses. And I'll be posting and sharing the real version, including the parts I'm bad at.
I'll be super vulnerable and transparent. This is also coinciding with real financial pressure in my business right now. I need to make fast, disciplined changes, and move quickly toward a goal.
Then something clicked. I taught commercial photography at Rocky Mountain School of Photography for years, voted best class of the year, three years running. Turns out I never loved the camera as much as I loved taking someone from confused to capable. Same job, new subject.
So for months I made every excuse available to me. I don't know enough. I have to stay a photographer, that's who I am. I don't have a technical background. I'm scared of an industry I never trained for.
But here's the part that took longer to admit than anything else. Photography has been my identity. My community. The thing I introduce myself as, the thing I'm known for in my friend group and my city.
New business possibilities kept showing up everywhere I looked. Most of what I consume now is about building and growing an AI business. I'm testing, building, and learning constantly, and I can't stop.
But this year I got obsessed with something else. AI knowledge work, AI agents, automation, the systems underneath how a business actually runs. Not casually. Photography hours started going to it, then most of my free time.
