பேராசிரியர் காமகோடி மற்றும் அவரது தந்தை பேராசிரியர் வீழிநாதன் இருவருக்குமே நான் நன்கு அறிமுகமானவன்.

காமகோடி பற்றி எனக்கு வந்த ஒரு கருத்தைப் பகிர்கிறேன்.

பாராளுமன்றத்தில் பிரியங்கா வாத்ரா காமகோடி குறித்து கூறிய "கோமூத்ரா" (Goumuthra) கருத்தைப் பற்றிய என் பதிவுக்குக் கிடைத்த பதில் இது.

1980-ஆம் ஆண்டு கோடைக்காலம். மயிலாப்பூரில் உள்ள ஒரு எளிய வீட்டின் முற்றத்தில் ஏழாம் வகுப்பு படிக்கும் ஒரு சிறுவன் மனவேதனையுடன் நின்று கொண்டிருந்தான்.

உள்ளூர் கிரிக்கெட் போட்டியில் வேகப்பந்து (Fast Bouncer) அவன் அணிந்திருந்த கண்ணாடியை உடைத்துவிட்டது.

அதனால் அவனது பார்வைக்கு ஏதாவது ஆகிவிடுமோ என்று பயந்த அவனது தந்தை, புகழ்பெற்ற சமஸ்கிருத தர்க்கவியலாளர், அந்தச் சிறுவனின் கிரிக்கெட் மட்டையை ஆழமான கிணற்றுக்குள் எறிந்தார்.

"உன் கிரிக்கெட் வாழ்க்கை இத்துடன் முடிந்தது," என்று கூறிவிட்டு, ஒரு வயலினை அவன் கையில் கொடுத்தார்.

"துல்லியத்தை (Precision) கற்றுக்கொள்ள விரும்பினால், இதில்தான் தேர்ச்சி பெறு."

அந்தச் சிறுவன் கோபப்படவில்லை. தனது முழு கவனத்தையும் வயலின் இசையில் செலுத்தினான்.

கடுமையாகப் பயிற்சி பெற்று, பின்னர் இசை உலகின் ஜாம்பவான்களுடன் மேடையேறி வாசிக்கும் அளவிற்கு உயர்ந்தான்.

பாரத ரத்னா எம். எஸ். சுப்புலட்சுமி அவர்களிடமிருந்தே நேரடியாக ஆலோசனைகளையும் திருத்தங்களையும் பெற்றான்.

ஐந்து ஆண்டுகள் கழித்து, அவனுக்கு மீண்டும் ஒரு பெரிய ஏமாற்றம் ஏற்பட்டது. IIT-JEE தேர்வில் தேர்ச்சி பெற முடியவில்லை.

ஆனால் அவன் மனம் தளரவில்லை. ஒரு பிராந்திய பொறியியல் கல்லூரியில் சேர்ந்தான்.

கணினி அறிவியலின் அடிப்படை தர்க்க அமைப்புகளை (Logic Gates) ஆழமாகக் கற்றான். பின்னர் முதுநிலை ஆராய்ச்சியாளராக IIT மதராசில் சேர்ந்தான்.

முனைவர் பட்டம் (PhD) பெற்றான். அதே கல்வி நிறுவனத்தில் பேராசிரியராக பணியாற்றி, இறுதியில் ஒருகாலத்தில் தன்னை நிராகரித்த அதே நிறுவனத்தின் இயக்குநராக உயர்ந்தான்.

2011-ஆம் ஆண்டில், உலகம் முழுவதும் நுகர்வோர் பயன்பாட்டு மொபைல் செயலிகளை உருவாக்கிக் கொண்டிருந்த நேரத்தில், இந்தப் பேராசிரியர் இந்தியாவின் ஒரு மறைந்திருந்த தேசியப் பாதுகாப்பு பலவீனத்தைப் பற்றி சிந்தித்தார்.

இந்தியாவின் ரேடார்கள், போர் விமானங்கள், வங்கிச் சேவையகங்கள் (Banking Servers), பாதுகாப்பு அமைப்புகள் அனைத்தும் வெளிநாடுகளில் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட மைக்ரோபிராசஸர்களைச் சார்ந்திருந்தன.

அவரது மனதில் ஒரே ஒரு கேள்வி:
"ஒரு வெளிநாட்டு சிப்பை (Chip) நாம் செய்ய வேண்டியதைச் செய்கிறதா என்று சோதிக்க முடியும்.

ஆனால், போர்காலத்தில் அது நாம் விரும்பாத வேறு ஏதாவது செயலைச் செய்யாது என்று உறுதியாகச் சொல்ல முடியுமா?"

இதற்குத் தீர்வாக, முழுமையாக இந்தியாவில் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட, தொழில்துறை தரமான (Industrial Grade) ஒரு மைக்ரோபிராசஸரை அடிப்படையிலிருந்து உருவாக்கும் திட்டத்தை முன்வைத்தார்.

உலகின் முன்னணி தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனங்கள், "பல பில்லியன் டாலர் முதலீடும், மிகப்பெரிய கட்டமைப்பும், ஏராளமான வெளிநாட்டு காப்புரிமைகளும் இல்லாமல் இது சாத்தியமில்லை" என்று கூறின.

ஆனால் அவர் அதைப் பொருட்படுத்தவில்லை.
சிறிய ஆய்வகங்களில், நீண்ட நேர உழைப்புடன், தனது குழுவுடன் இணைந்து Open Source RISC-V Instruction Set-ஐ பயன்படுத்தினார். ஒவ்வொரு Logic Gate-ஐயும் கைமுறையாக வடிவமைத்து, Silicon Layout-களை உருவாக்கி, கோடிக்கணக்கான Instruction Cycle-களைச் சோதித்து உறுதிப்படுத்தினர்.

2018-ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை மாதம், "Risecreek" என்ற குறியீட்டுப் பெயருடைய வெறும் 16 சதுர மில்லிமீட்டர் அளவுள்ள சிலிக்கான் சிப் ஆய்வகத்திற்குத் திரும்பி வந்தது.
அந்தச் சிப்பை இணைத்து மின்சாரத்தை இயக்கியபோது, திரையில் மெல்ல மின்னியபடி Linux Operating System, வரலாற்றில் முதல் முறையாக 100% இந்தியாவில் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட சிலிக்கானில் வெற்றிகரமாக இயங்கத் தொடங்கியது.

இன்று, அவரது SHAKTI Processor Architecture, பாதுகாப்புத் தகவல் தொடர்பு அமைப்புகள் முதல், ISRO உடன் இணைந்து உருவாக்கப்பட்ட விண்வெளித் தரக் கட்டுப்பாட்டு அமைப்புகள் வரை பல்வேறு துறைகளில் பயன்பட்டு வருகிறது.

ஒரு காலத்தில், தந்தை கிரிக்கெட் மட்டையை கிணற்றுக்குள் எறிந்த அந்தச் சிறுவன்...

1985-இல் IIT-JEE தேர்வில் தோல்வியடைந்த அந்த மாணவன்...

IIT இயக்குநருக்கான அதிகாரப்பூர்வ இல்லத்தில் குடியேறாமல், தனது மறைந்த தந்தையின் அரிய சமஸ்கிருத நூலகத்தைப் பாதுகாக்க குடும்ப வீட்டிலேயே வாழத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்த அந்த வயலின் கலைஞர்...

கரூர் மாவட்டத்தில் 3,084 ஏக்கர் நிலங்கள் தொடர்பாக எழுந்துள்ள விவகாரத்தில் உண்மை நிலையை, சட்டரீதியாகப் புரிந்துகொள்வது அவசியம்.

இங்கு பேசுபொருளாகியிருக்கும் அனைத்து நிலங்களும் "திருக்கோவில் சொத்துகள்" என்றல்ல; பெரும்பாலானவை இனாம் நிலங்கள் தொடர்பானவை. ஆலயங்களில் பணியாற்றிய அர்ச்சகர்கள், ஊழியர்கள் உள்ளிட்டோருக்கு விஜயநகரப் பேரரசு மற்றும் பிற ஆட்சியாளர்களால் மானியமாக வழங்கப்பட்ட இனாம் நிலங்கள், பின்னர் தமிழ்நாடு இனாம் (ரத்து மற்றும் ரயத்வாரியாக மாற்றுதல்) சட்டம், 1963 (Act 30 of 1963)-ன் கீழ் விசாரணை நடத்தப்பட்டு, தகுதியுடையவர்களுக்கு ரயத்வாரி பட்டாக்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டன.

இந்த பட்டாக்களை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு, ஆயிரக்கணக்கான விவசாயிகள் பல தசாப்தங்களாக நிலங்களை சாகுபடி செய்து, பராமரித்து, சட்டப்பூர்வமாக அனுபவித்து வருகின்றனர். ஆனால், கடந்த திமுக ஆட்சியில், இந்த பட்டா பெற்ற இனாம் நிலங்களும் கோயில் நிலங்களுடன் சேர்த்து பூஜ்ஜிய மதிப்பில் வகைப்படுத்தப்பட்டதால், அவற்றைப் பத்திரப்பதிவு செய்ய முடியாத நிலை ஏற்பட்டது. இதனால் விவசாயிகள் கடன் பெறுதல், சொத்து பரிமாற்றம் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு சிரமங்களை எதிர்கொண்டனர்.

தற்போதைய தவெக அரசின் நடவடிக்கை, சட்டப்படி ஏற்கனவே ரயத்வாரி பட்டா பெற்ற இனாம் நிலங்களின் மீதான பதிவுத் தடையை நீக்கி, அந்த விவசாயிகளின் சட்டப்பூர்வ உரிமையை மீட்டெடுப்பதற்கானதாக இருந்தால், அதனை வரவேற்க வேண்டியதே தவிர, அதை கோவில் நிலங்களை, ஆக்கிரமிப்பாளர்களுக்கு வழங்கும் நடவடிக்கையாக சித்தரிப்பது தவறான புரிதலை ஏற்படுத்தும்.

அதே நேரத்தில், உண்மையான திருக்கோவில் சொத்துகள் எதுவும், சட்டவிரோதமாக தனியாருக்கு மாற்றப்படக் கூடாது என்பதில் எந்தவித மாற்றுக் கருத்தும் இல்லை. கோவில் சொத்துகளை பாதுகாப்பதும், சட்டப்படி உரிமை பெற்ற விவசாயிகளின் உரிமையை பாதுகாப்பதும் இரண்டுமே அரசின் பொறுப்பாகும்.

எனவே, சட்டப்பூர்வமாக ரயத்வாரி பட்டா பெற்ற இனாம் நிலங்களின் உரிமையை உறுதி செய்யும் தமிழக அரசின் நடவடிக்கையை நாங்கள் ஆதரிக்கிறோம். இது ஆயிரக்கணக்கான விவசாயிகளின் வாழ்வாதாரத்தையும், பல ஆண்டுகளாக நிலவி வந்த பதிவுச் சிக்கல்களையும் தீர்க்கும் ஒரு முக்கியமான நடவடிக்கை.

Parents should train their children, whether boys or girls, to cultivate the habit of offering namaskāram in our ānmīga style by demonstrating it themselves. It is not enough to merely tell them to do it in that way. Parents themselves should demonstrate how to offer pañcāṅga or ṣaṣṭāṅga namaskāram and how to do pradakṣiṇā. When bhaktās come to the temple, we should provide facilities for them to wash their feet before entering the temple. In Tirupati, they have made arrangements for people to wash their feet. We should provide similar facilities in Tamil Nadu for people to wash their feet. At the Śaṅkara Maṭha, they have kept vibhūti and kuṅkumam and a large mirror outside, so devotees can apply them before entering. There are water taps for washing the feet. When people come to the temple, there should be a designated space outside for leaving footwear, and someone should monitor it responsibly. People should leave things that should be kept outside, such as சீப்பு (seepu—comb) and கண்ணாடி (kannadi -spectacles), and bring only what is appropriate, such as வாழைப்பழ சீப்பு (Vazhaipazha seepu—a bunch of bananas).
Therefore, when we go to the temple, we should go with bhakti and śraddhā. Without questioning why we can't come in any way we like, we should follow the good conduct of our ancestors, rather than modern casual habits. When entering the temple, we should come in a proper ānmīga manner, wearing veṣṭi or pudavai, and vibhūti and kuṅkumam. Hara Hara Śaṅkarā Jaya Jaya Śaṅkarā #kamakoti #JagadguruVacanam
