Today I got to watch my 3rd graders give their mystery genre book in a box reports they’ve been working on for the past week. I was really surprised at how creative some of the kids were with the items they put in their box! #EDU310

This week in my placement I am finding myself still struggling with names. To help differentiate for certain subjects the third grade classes split based on proficiency, meaning I pretty much have to get to know ALL 60+ students in third grade. #EDU310

This week at my placement I was able to work with some of the kids in a small group to reteach some math concepts they were struggling with. I could tell this made the kids feel more comfortable with me and it helped me to get to know some of them better! #EDU310

Last week I was able to go in and observe two math lessons in preparation for the math lesson I will be giving for my observation. Math was definitely not my first choice for a lesson, so I am a bit nervous for it! #EDU310
