@RealMamaEagle I know it will never be this way again because there are more than enough people that will never get enough of the NFL, but the fact this is a 365 day a year league (literally) is beyond exhausting
A chicken sandwich from Walmart AND a 1am brisket sandwich from Buccees?
Freddy's one boudin ball on the side of I-10 away from every European cell in his body spontaneously combusting
We were very lucky that the hospital and his doctors stepped in and now he's getting his last two cycles. But tell me how Medicare for All is somehow "the state determines whether you live or die" but a private insurance company doing exactly that is just A-OK
I saw this and I thought about my dad, fighting leukemia this year, who had his treatment yanked TWICE in a span of six days because the insurance first heard the chemo name, determined it was something else first, then determined they only cover one cycle.
He was THREE cycles away from being finished. Instead my parents' insurance would only cover a lesser treatment that may or may not have even worked, that requires constant chemo for the next TWO TO THREE YEARS.
@katiebakes I think part of that is this fandom has gotten so good at correctly pinpointing the exact moment everything's about to go off the cliff only to be proven right days later. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy of gut-wrenching dread.
everybody who dismissed the insanely good journalism about mr. straight shot violating civil liberties of his team's fans around his real estate ought to see tonight's vibe-killer as part 2 of the same story
All of this with a Frankenstein roster and a window of literally next season only to try and win with the best player on the planet.
If that's not a card-carrying member and president of the Good Hockey Men than I don't know what is
The Oilers' interest in Mike Babcock is real. According to several sources, Babcock has spoken directly with owner Daryl Katz. (@FriedgeHNIC) https://t.co/ESg4RtbOc6
The man who ignored a player being sexually assaulted on his own team, got hired AGAIN despite never actually showing what he did to learn from it, is now going to potentially hire the man so toxic he got fired from the second chance HE never deserved before even coaching a game.
I love that the same oil wildcatter college sports media is credulously platforming to “save” college sports is the same one who is doing everything in his power to help Sorsby beat gambling charges they think are punishable by death
