@engineers_feed Are we to assume that there are any other forces acting on the system? You are showing a mass with a single force acting on it. Are we to assume gravity acting in some direction? Is the round object a pulley? Is the red object at the top fixed? Is the connecting line elastic?
Intel’s James Reinders, parallel processing engineer and impresario, discusses Intel’s work on oneAPI, SYCL, DPC++, chiplets, UCIe, and two of Intel’s more recent M&A activities. Whew!

@ChelseaCain Mom goes upstairs to read bedtime story to son. Son sees the book she is carrying. “What did you bring that book I didn’t want to be read to out of up for?” FIVE! Beat that!
It’s called Laisses-Faire Logic. Super popular these days. Things happen when they happen. No need to get all worked up about it. Aim for all “don’t care” outputs.
Most legacy #FPGA designs I've seen lately either have incomplete or incorrect timing constraints. One had no timing constraints whatsoever. This is scary.
@Alwayzsleep@marcusadams420@amal_shura@VeloceEsports Luck also plays a big part. Over the course of a season, performance vs teammate is probably a good indicator, but not over a couple of races. If we both roll dice and I get a four and a five, but you get only a two and a three, I wouldn’t claim to be a better dice roller.
@marcusadams420@amal_shura@VeloceEsports It means that the car is the most important factor. Drivers have to have massive, world-class skill, but on a planet of six billion people you can find twenty with amazing skill. But ten teams of engineers competing will come up with different solutions to the problem.
