Time to Tx high #CAC as aggressively as post-heart attack? CAC of ≥300 in asymptomatic ppl confers the same risk as post-MI survivors (eg secondary prevention) in #CONFIRM. Use of CAC may guide the intensity of preventive approaches more broadly. https://t.co/g0U3JcSW4Q #JACCIMG
My patient saw me in clinic today after hospitalization for cholecystectomy.
1. She doesn’t feel better.
2. She has heart failure
3. They stopped my spironolactone because “her BP wasn’t high”
4. Her GFR and K are normal.

I’m officially a student again, at @uwsph! Blended with my last clinical year @uwashfellows. @Niggy_Azalea was super excited to take this first day of school picture last week (she counted 26–guess I got held back a bunch of times)
