In honor of #BHM I’d like to share the story of my favorite Black founder, Henry Robinson. He co-founded Genesys Software in 1985 with two fellow Black software engineers he met while at Westinghouse
He’s the reason I love & respect entrepreneurs
This is my father’s story 👨🏽💻✊🏽
Our founder @anuraggoel checks data dashboards first. When he asked why dbt hadn't run yet, we knew the pipeline had to change.
So we rebuilt our pipeline on Render Workflows with smarter branching, free "poll until ready" retries, full observability.

That’s a wrap on H2 @doppelhq CKO in my hometown of Boston!
@rahul_madduluri and I talk about this every year, but it’s incredible to see how much bigger the event gets each time we do it. We’ve welcomed more than 130 new Doppelgangers since our last CKO in February of this year.
Huge thank you to @TheValuesVC for joining us, and to the entire Doppel team for the energy, collaboration, and commitment throughout the week.
And a special thank you to Bobby Ford, @alyssa_c, Rosa Andrews, MSHR and the marketing team for not only planning the event, but for an incredibly well-executed surprise: bringing my mom on stage. This was a special moment she and I will never forget.
I’m immensely proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish in four+ years, and even more excited about what we can accomplish in the next four. Here’s to more baseball games, growth, and Doppel Magic.
Proud to be @base44’s application cloud as they blow past $200M ARR at breakneck speed.
They’re proving that the world’s most ambitious companies can scale all the way without the hyperscaler complexity tax. @render takes you there.
Ive known @lewiszliu + the Founding team @twin1ai for years & if there’s 1 thing I know its that they will change how we think about Agentic work, governance, context, and security
Proud to see @BessemerVP co-leading the $20M seed with our friends at @tribecavp & @aramcoventures
Today we’re launching 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, the deep-dive research and playbook on agentic development. ⭐

Ferndesk is an agentic help center that monitors code changes, support tickets, and product releases to autonomously write and maintain documentation.
When they started to scale, they switched to Render. Here’s why → https://t.co/vqB1puThGJ
We’ve received notice that the Department of Commerce has lifted export controls on Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5.
We'll begin restoring access tomorrow, and will share an update soon.
We’re grateful to our users for their patience, and to everyone who worked with us on redeploying the models.
AI isn’t just changing cyber threats, it’s accelerating them.
As our CEO, Kevin Tian, puts it, the evolution of these attacks can be defined in three ways: velocity, volume, and variety. Attackers are coming faster, more often, and across more platforms than ever before.
Organizations can no longer rely on siloed defenses focused on a single threat vector anymore. Security strategies need to evolve just as quickly as the attacks themselves, with platforms designed to address the full spectrum of these modern threats.
There's interesting healthcare AI companies like $HNGE that could be interesting -- less biotech / pharma.
Hinge Health is AI Physical therapy and $740m ARR growing 47%. Backed by @TheValuesVC@BessemerVP , Coatue, Insight Partners.
I think healthcare traditionally just written off but to your point AI is great for bio / pharma.
Excited for this next leg of growth!
The future of legal work is agentic.
AI agents will increasingly execute complex work alongside legal teams. And when that happens, the economics of legal work change. We go beyond seats licensed to outcomes delivered.
That shift needs a commercial model built for it. So we're introducing consumption-based pricing to @WeAreLegora, alongside our latest product: Agent Pro.
Agent Pro uses the most powerful models and a new harness to plan, execute, review, and deliver complex legal work end-to-end. It does real work. So the way we commercialize it should track the value it creates instead of a seat count.
We're not first to see this. AI companies like Clay, Cursor, Lovable, and the model providers themselves have all moved this way. We expect many more to follow.
This shift reflects our belief that the value of AI over time will get measured in work done, not logins purchased. And that the legal teams who win are the ones who put these new capabilities to use.

Sneak peek from localhost.
A few favorite frames from June 18 in SF. Thank you to everyone who came out.
More photos and the session recordings are on the way. Stay tuned!
Last week in London, I had an interesting conversation with @journosooz from the @FinancialTimes. A lot of it covered @WeAreLegora's growth, but she also raised a very valid question about the market itself: is legal AI a race to divide up the work that already exists?
People keep framing this as build vs. buy, or as a fight over a fixed market. I don't see it that way. The legal market itself is going to grow, massively, because of AI. When filing a patent gets easier, more companies file. When good legal work gets faster, more of it gets done. We're not splitting a pie. The pie is getting bigger.
To me, the question isn't who takes the largest slice of legal work as it exists today. It's how much more legal work becomes possible when the cost and friction fall away, and what you build for that world.
I think it's the best time in history to be a lawyer. Never have this many talented people been building tools to make legal work more powerful and more fun.

Building at the edge of AI is @every's business model. Their AI-pilled team lives at the frontier, writes what they see, and experiments in gaps they uncover.
When infrastructure got in the way of shipping, they switched to Render.

We’re excited to share that we just signed an agreement for @salesforce to acquire @fin_ai for ~$3.6B. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2027.
Fin started as Intercom 15 years ago. We changed our name to cap our transformation just weeks ago. We were a darling of the SaaS era and invented so many of the patterns you see in software today. Nearly four years ago, in need of a reboot, we jumped on weeks-old modern LLMs to create and define the category we know as Customer Agents today.
Salesforce invented modern software and SaaS. And @benioff is like the final boss of tech founder CEOs. In seat for 27 years, he’s one of the last of his era. Still pushing, pivoting, placing big bets. It’s a privilege for @destraynor and I to get to partner with him and join forces with Salesforce upon close at this most fascinating time. And will be very fun to get their help bringing Fin to magnitudes more consumers.
To our customers: Over the past few years we’ve been shipping intensely. Including recently our groundbreaking model, Apex, and our paradigm-defining internal agent, Operator. With the resources of Salesforce this will only accelerate. And yet little will practically change. I’ll still be CEO, Des will still be running R&D, we’ll both still be committed to continuing to lead this category. Thank you very sincerely and deeply for your belief in us.
To all of our friends, our families, and our employees, past and present: While this is not the end, it is a major, pivotal, special, and emotional moment for us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. For everything.
To my cofounders, my exec team: Look what we built. Four young lads with a dream and nothing to lose. And a home grown exec team who pulled off the greatest and arguably only late stage software company pivot to AI, and invented one of the most important categories in AI. Thank you for sticking through all of this with me.
And now, time to get back to work. See you at our next product launch in a couple weeks. (:
