Apparently, companies don't hire if you are too ambitious because you might leave their company.
I think that's just one of the many reasons why you shouldn't take rejections personally.
you need to be slowmaxxing. you need to be reading long, fat books. you need to be making 48-hour chocolate chip cookies. you need to spend hours watching wildlife, you need to spend 15+ min making your coffee. you need to breathe in and breathe out. you need to be slowwwwwwwwwww.
No about of external validation can make you feel what internal validation can.
When you start doing that, that's when you know you have started the healing journey.
No one changes because you beg them to. Or because you give them an ultimatum. And if they do, it won't last long. The only reason people actually change is because they're so sick of dealing with the fallout of their own behavior, they have no choice.
From geopolitics to technology, I can see the shift and the crisis that we are handling are not what the books talk about, traditionally.
Choose a therapist that is not invalidating you for getting worried about leaning a skill that has a 90% chance of getting obsolete in 5yrs.
This generation is going through the kind of stress none of the other generations were prepared for let alone taught how to deal with.
Weirdly enough the guiding forces for them are the same old generations.
The tensions and disconnect between them is inevitable.
