Today was a first for me. I usually like to be in the shadows and let my work speak for itself. This afternoon, I unveiled a new belief statement at Red Ventures to help symbolize our fight against systemic racism.
Thanks to everyone that came out to the #dribbble Meetup at @RedVentures last night and saw @thejonaron, myself, and an awesome panel talk about how we've made remote collaboration work across our collocated offices. Great discussion! @adamiscrupe@bfreemanfl
One week away!
This month's Charlotte #dibbblemeetup, @thejonaron and @heatherbuchma be discussing best practices for remote collaboration–what’s worked for us, what hasn’t, and how you can incorporate neat tools like @MiroHQ into your process.

Our leaders always also do the “doing”. We have a strong preference towards a player/coach leader for a variety of reasons. That said, I think it depends on the culture, the number of UXers and many other factors.
How many UX thought leaders actually do the "doing"? As in, running user tests, attending research, conduct interviews, designing test scripts, recruiting participants and so on. Is this important? Because we are depending on these people to learn from. Thoughts? Please RT 🙂 #UX
@AriannaSimpson As we’ve scaled and added regional offices I’ve found this can work really well with the right approach. Video chat and tools like @InVisionApp and @RealtimeBoard have been essential. Some of the best work I’ve been a part of comes from teams spread across the U.S.
Such a great time learning with some of the fine folks from @InVisionApp yesterday. Shout-out to @elou for her engaging workshops on #UXR for #UX generalists and design thinking methods. @RedVentures
Personalised experiences. Voice user interface (Alexa,Google). Simplified authentication. Yes please! 2019 UX Trends that we all should be keeping in mind. #UX#Design https://t.co/eufe1v7eg6
Too often, in the office we embrace the idea that there is a right way for our words to sound and that the perfect accent is one that is not just inaudible, but also invisible. https://t.co/hNtrbtHW4h
Me ten years ago, on seeing a poorly designed interface “Wow, what idiot designed this?” Me, today: “What constraints were the team coping with that made this design seem like the best possible solution?” Empathy trumps fundamental attribution errors.
