1/ Amnesty International chose to libel the Gay Men's Network as an "anti-rights" group along with several LBG organisations. We object to NGOs who espouse gender ideology misusing their formidable funding and influence in this fashion and we are seeking a formal apology.
The reason Hothersall, and people like him, can't abide women and gay people who say 'no' to the removal of rights from female rape victims and the chemical castration of gender-confused children is that they're completely insulated from the harms they're cheering on.
‘Advocating for women’s rights and for women’s legal right to same-sex spaces is, according to Amnesty, hateful.’ — ✍️@alexmassie

I exposed (thanks to a courageous whistle blower inside Amnesty UK) @amnesty's plan to lobby for decriminalisation of pimping, brothel owning, and sex buying, back in 2015. This is a men's rights movement and deeply misogynistic. Not fit for purpose.

It appears that (as many of us have suspected for years) Amnesty believes certain kinds of humans don’t deserve rights: women, girls and those who are proudly same-sex attracted. I hope donors from those groups are taking note.
"No "Carve Out" For Parents In LGBT Conversion Practices Ban, Says Minister."
And thus throws away the votes of parents of teenagers across the UK.
@UKLabour voters - if you think this fails @andyburnham's Makerfield Test plse let him & your MP know, now!

New data on pregnancy & testosterone. 4–9% of this population had given birth - TESTOSTERONE IS NOT CONTRACEPTION!
Miscarriage is high: ~31–40%
Postnatal depression is potentially x4 higher.
Evidence is sparse.
We need MUCH better data for these women and their babies. Link>
Using a Stonewall survey that found 1 in 10 LGBT people have experienced exorcism, the Cabinet Office estimates that the conversion therapy bill will bring in £783 million in mental health benefits.
I raise an eyebrow at the figures in The Spectator. https://t.co/RrWsfnOJVi
I've written on why the Conversion Practices Bill is a dangerous Trojan Horse that smuggles in criminal levers to be weaponised against people - including parents - who don't believe in gender ideology 👇

Possibly, as Minister for Health, James Murray could compel the adult gender clinics to hand over the data they refused to give to Cass. We might then find out just how much benefit these interventions confer long term, without needing to perform experiments on children too young to give meaningful consent.
Read the testimony of the ever-expanding numbers of detransitioners. Grasp that these young people, many of them extremely vulnerable - autistic, care-experienced, abuse survivors, same-sex attracted in unsupportive families - have been irreparably harmed, left with their fertility destroyed, unending medical complications and profound psychological damage.
This is a medical scandal of epic proportions and people of power and influence are still too frightened of trans activists and trans lobby groups to do the right thing and put an end to the insanity. Kids are being sacrificed to ideology and cowardice.
Does the presence of males in female boxing increase safety risk?
I dunno, maybe we need a randomised controlled trial. (Time to cite my favourite paper ever)

As a lesbian adopter and an adopted child myself, I’m really pleased that 18% of adopters are now LGB. Adopted children often feel slightly outside the ‘normal’, whatever that is, and gay people can tune into those feelings to provide extraordinarily empathetic support.
'If this bill becomes law, people who regret transitioning will have nowhere to go. There is a huge difference between telling a lesbian or gay person that they are bad or broken for being same-sex attracted, and a parent who tries to dissuade their child from transitioning.'

Today, I am launching Phoenix Publications Ltd - an independent press for gender critical and other writers who refuse to be cancelled, censored or quietly dropped by a publishing industry that has lost its nerve.
Setting this company up is not something I had in mind 35 years ago when I became an academic. The last few years has taught me that there is a demand for intellectually independent, critical and engaging books, memoirs, testimonials, short form books and other non-fiction. It has also taught me that the audience for gender critical work is huge and hungry.
So, welcome to my publishing house.

The Amos review represents a missed opportunity for real change & sadly tells us nothing new. Families are right to feel disappointed. Their voices are surprisingly lacking. Their questions left unanswered. My reflections for @NewStatesman... (🧵)
