One of the most common questions we get about AI data centers is how much water do they use?
Fair question. Older designs cooled servers by evaporating water and people naturally assume ours do too. They don't.
$IREN's sites are different. Direct-to-chip liquid cooling in a closed loop. Same idea as a car radiator or a fridge. Fill it once and the water just goes round and round.
Over the life of a 200MW site, the initial fill plus every top-up averages out to about as much water each year as 3 households.
Not a town. Not a suburb. Not a street... 3 houses.
Water matters in the regions we build in. Which is precisely why our cooling barely uses any.
12 months ago we had ~3MW of self-built AI Cloud capacity. Today: 480MW being delivered this year, $2.8bn in new contracts signed, and our 2026 ARR target raised to $4bn+ with ~85% already under contract.
Demand continues to exceed everything we can build. Recent contracts include customer prepayments covering ~45% of the associated GPU capex, with weighted average contract terms of ~4 years across the portfolio.

We're in a good spot. Proud of the team.
@andysofff@Agrippa_Inv@scludweed After the game when the coach and the players are talking political views during the interview doesn’t help anyone
Loves travel stops sponsors the Thunder doesn’t make me buy a drop more gas
Don’t even go into the store for a purchase while I’m there
@stocksangchul@danroberts0101@warriors What a load of BS That Microsoft or nivida make decisions based of of logo on a team that only tries to push there political views at news conferences
Instead of focusing on what they could do to improve their game
@DavidJPete@danroberts0101@warriors Well we can only hope this wasn’t the CEOs idea
Whoever he is listening to to make this decision should be fired including Alfred
Completely loosing all respect
@mcF_dan@XCapitalMgmt Problem is the bag holders that bought at highs took the 50% drop waiting for a announcement from Dan saying he was talking with multiple companies daily and they are not back to break even yet after the 100% up move I agree the pieces are coming together but need new highs
@FransBakker9812 Continuing proof of work should impress the prospective customers more than sphere advertising
That would cover a lot of overtime on what they are currently working on
@FransBakker9812 I highly value your opinion on this company
My thoughts are that anyone with the ability to do business with them knows who they are and what they offer
The company town halls are great for educating the community on the company
@FransBakker9812 So you’re saying Dan is just blowing smoke when he is making statements about all the prospective customers he is meeting with daily?
Them knowing they are going to do the majority of the business with the government makes the advertising spend even worse
