Hi I'm Thomas. I move pixels around for fun and profit. I am currently working on a modern Office Suite with a couple of friends...more to come in 2025 :-)
@Gavmn I have had a similar issue once and fixed it by setting my background to white and using light mode for all my programs and after a week or two it was not visible anymore
@rsms@figma Well that answers that question :-)...so in that case I support your suggestion on creating a new figma file with cmd+N and Figjam file with cmd+shift+N
btw...thank you for creating Inter...truly an amazing font
@bryan_johnson Sound like your ghrelin hormone is running the show. Try some intermitten fasting and you will soon get to a point where you rarely feel hunger.
@jackrusher@strangeloop_stl Great talk with references to awesome languages and projects that most are unaware of. I would love to show you what we are working on @neurionco which is a statically typed functional programming language with typed holes and other goodies :-)
@FrancescoD_Ales I also have a WalkingPad that I use when doing research and find that it's a great way to get those extra steps. I don't use when doing "real" work since it can be a bit distracting to walk and keep a pace when I am doing design work which requires more precise mouse movements.
@jonathoda We are some who care but creating solutions within this space is harder than most realize and takes more time than most are willing or able to put in. As you know, just understanding the problems that need to be solved and experimenting with solutions can take many years upfront
@yairchu@LamduProject@paulbiggar@darklang@neurocy@dm_0ney @o_kryvonos @neurionco We haven't written much in the FAQ yet, but that is on our Todo list :-) it's a structural editor based on a new statically typed functional programming language with semantically typed holes. It has live evaluation, version history, transclusion and more good stuff :-)
@disconcision Am I the only one who actually likes APL with all its weird symbols? Kenneth Iversons work of a better visual notation for thought is truly amazing and worth exploring. It inspired me to create a notation to speed up UI+UX documentation.
@tomas_mikula There definitely seems to be something to session types that might make them very useful when creating UIs. At @neurionco we have looked at this specific use case but don't have the ressources yet to fully explore it.
@TfTHacker@NotePlanApp I could not agree more. Transclusion is an essential building block in a TfT, but would also say that version history on everything and the ability to program are essential. That's also way we @neurionco have these things and more as our core pillars.
