أعلنت وزارة الدفاع أن الدفاعات الجوية الإماراتية تعاملت اليوم بنجاح مع 9 صواريخ باليستية و6 صواريخ جوالة و148 طائرة مسيرة.

وأوضحت الوزارة أنه منذ بدء الهجوم الإيراني تم رصد 174 صاروخاً باليستياً تم إطلاقها تجاه الدولة، حيث تم تدمير 161 صاروخاً، فيما سقط 13 منها في مياه البحر، كما تم رصد 689 مسيرة إيرانية واعتراض 645 مسيرة، فيما وقعت 44 منها داخل أراض الدولة، كما تم رصد وتدمير عدد 8 صواريخ جوالة، وتسببت في بعض الأضرار الجانبية، كما أسفرت عن 3 حالات وفاة و68 حالة إصابة بسيطة.

وتؤكد الوزارة أن الأصوات المسموعة في مناطق متفرقة من الدولة هي نتيجة اعتراض كل من منظومات الدفاع الجوي للصواريخ البالستية، والمقاتلات للطائرات المسيرة والجوالة، والذي أدى إلى حدوث أضرار مادية بسيطة ومتوسطة في عدد من الأعيان المدنية.

وأدانت الوزارة بأشد العبارات هذا الاستهداف العسكري، معتبرةً ذلك عدواناً سافراً وانتهاكاً صارخاً للسيادة الوطنية وللقانون الدولي، وأن الدولة تحتفظ بحقها الكامل في الرد على هذا التصعيد واتخاذ جميع الإجراءات اللازمة لحماية أراضيها وشعبها والمقيمين فيها، وبما يضمن صون سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها ويحمي مصالحها ومقدراتها الوطنية.

وأكدت وزارة الدفاع أنها على أهبة الاستعداد والجاهزية للتعامل مع أية تهديدات، وأنها تتخذ كافة الإجراءات اللازمة للتصدي بحزم لكل ما يستهدف زعزعة أمن الدولة واستقرارها، وأضافت أن سلامة المواطنين والمقيمين والزوار تمثل أولوية قصوى لا يمكن التهاون فيها.

وتهيب الوزارة بالجمهور الكريم استقاء المعلومات من المصادر الرسمية في الدولة، وتجنب تداول الشائعات أو المعلومات غير الموثوقة.
