Cappoquin Co. Waterford had 33mm of rain in just 20 mins today which caused flash floods and ditches to collapse with roads blocked. Fair play to farmer that helped clear the road.
Lets hope the people that will have a drink made from this barley, get as much pleasure from it as we are having cutting it this evening. #harvest22#whiskeyandbeer 😎☀️🍻🌾
This whole breeding season thing is an emotional rollercoaster. I gave the last 3 weeks going out every morning praying there would be loads cows on and now I have to turn around n hope for the next 3/6weeks nothing is on. 🤷♂️#mixedemotions
Last milking tonight in parlour build by our grandfather in 1967. Moving now to this temporary one for the next few mts, while we are building new one. #wintermilk#nostop@DeLaval_UK_IRE@ScaDairyTech

@Im_thefarmer @mcdonnellbros As you can see by the leg, it goes down about two and a half feet and with the vibration it will always stay that depth. The pipe laying is done by PDM services @peterjdmcgrath
Peter McGrath in action laying pipe in Co. Waterford. This is a very efficient way of putting a serious water infrastructure into your farm. All pipe supplied by McDonnell Bros
@aidan_bren @tinturholsteins By the look of it up there it was into the bulk tank. Ah ye were all glad to have us during the drought🙈🤦♂️#topclassslurry
Did a Xmas eve call to roger in Cappoquin estate. First time seeing 5 robots in action. Hugely impressive setup. A lot of food for thought re alternative systems going forward. @tinturholsteins @DeLaval@mcdonnellbros
