@Hank_Igitur@JeremyTate41 Well, for a start, there's 4 Evangelists for you! And if you'd care to visit, you'd see many more images of saints, and beautiful images of Christ.
But I guess you're just trying to be argumentative.
Anyway, "Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must remain silent." ๐คซ
@sermons_com@izuna657@Catholic_bro I'm guessing you weren't consciously trying to actually disprove the existence of God just then.
Just an awkward byproduct of your argument with a fellow Christian?
@dennisconrad@gonefishin1948@FatherChrisVor1 And the Pope bringing to our attention the justifiable issues of climate change doesn't have a purpose?
I think I'll just go back to reading St Francis' Canticle...๐ค
@flynn_dolores@FatherChrisVor1 "Climate change is political and a lie."
Really?
So, what are your academic qualifications for this incredibly sweeping statement? What extensive research has brought you to this conclusion?
Or have you just been listening to certain loud, uneducated politicians?
@approachitsmart@CatholicSat What do you mean by "comes before"?
Why do you presume to know the Pope's priorities?
Surely you know that, as an intelligent adult, he can actually concentrate on more than one thing in a day.
Perhaps...just perhaps...the Pope is doing more, on more fronts, than you know. ๐ค๐
@JBalone35@CatholicSat Come on, you're better than this. You know very well the difference between 'worshipping', 'blessing', and 'praying over'. Don't be disingenuous.
Furthermore, 'what you want' doesn't come into a Papal conclave. It's what the Holy Spirit wants.
You don't like Leo? Pray for him.
@GeoxpXp@CatholicSat You do know they're not mutually exclusive, don't you?
And surely you also know that, as an intelligent adult, the Pope can be 'worried' about more than one thing at once?
@flemingrut I'm afraid I had no knowledge of your book, but I've just bought it on the strength of this post.
Looking forward to learning more. Thank you.
@norton_tj @FrTotleben92742 @Dominic70832743 Quick (and genuine) question...have you ever been to Lourdes, or to any Mass attended by people with severe disabilities?
@Kizilaysodasi It's a difficult one, isn't it? I desperately want Pog, Jonas, Remco, and all the others to be clean. I love the event so much, and I want it to be fair. But we've all been burned by the past, and it's subsequently so hard to trust.
Money ruins everything, I guess. ๐ฃ
