The stupid COVID-19 policies and restrictions were bad. But they could be ignored and peacefully resisted. If the [[redacted]] idiots in DC get me nuked I will not practice peaceful non-compliance. I will not forgive or forget.
@ChristianHeiens Your public polls and quaint references to what the public want are not what Max is referring to. The Iran deal cost the Republicans standing with the people who got Gallrein elected. The next GOP nominee will be in the same place Trump was in 2016.
@robkroese You cannot throw the ball forward more than one time per play, or if you cross the line of scrimmage. That's the easiest most obvious arbitrary rule making them game harder for everyone.
@jrberg3@AlexiLalas Fair point. The counter is that if you can't say it with your chest you don't deserve to be out there either. So if a player retaliates to an insult they get carded, and if a player is to chicken to say the insult where everyone can see it they get carded, seems reasonable.
@CoreyWriting Soccer will absolutely never be bigger than baseball in the U.S. However, in exactly 1 month the United States will be known as the best team in the world.
@cbwritescopy The United States will be the best soccer team in the world in exactly 1 month. You sound British with all the pessimism you're spitting.
@nestapendragon 2 thoughts:
1: Maybe, but they probably deserve it for the work it takes to assemble a cube.
2: I've never played a cube draft where the list wasn't available.
@AezzieUwU That is absolutely a delusional idea. Very few/no company would ever pay an employee out of the goodness of their heart.
However according to the Federal Reserve of St Louis about 1.1% of workers make minimum wage currently. Self regulation, no, market regulation, yes.
@JaguarGator9NFL Pulisic should get a few minutes. You can't sit someone 2 games and expect them to be 100% up to speed same as everyone who has been playing.
@vers_laLune It's basic rock, paper, scissors so you better have all 3. Cavalry destroys this, English longbows obliterate cavalry, and this wins vs ranged. So the answer to this is actually a balanced force, or walls.
@HistoryBoomer I think the fire analogy works well. America was/is literally burning to the ground and the gop decided to try and set a back fire to see if maybe they could save what was left.
@redsteeze This is a wild reframing of the 2016 election. The right went with Trump in large part because there was no effective difference between an Obama or a Romney presidency for the average Ohioan.
@mikeduncan It’s wild people cling to this interpretation when the exact opposite is true. They went with Trump because there was/is no effective discernible difference between Obama and Romney
