The KSO General Headquarters has come into possession of a deeply disturbing audio recording in which Biren Singh, the Chief Minister of Manipur, is heard boasting in a closed-door meeting with his cliques that he initiated the war against the Kuki-Zo people to "save Meitei Civilization" .

In this recording, Biren Singh explicitly states that he used both legal and questionable means to seize Kuki-Zo lands. He further boasts about ordering the Manipur Police Commandos and other forces to torture and kill Kuki-Zo people and to destroy their villages. He admits that he began planning the present violence 10-15 years ago, during his tenure as an MLA.

The audio recording contains several incriminating statements made by Biren Singh:
"We (the Meiteis) are all finished. I foresaw the downfall of the Meiteis which is why I started this
(Ethnic Cleansing)." (9:10 mins)

"I am the one who had sent, directed, and ordered the state forces and commandos to the war zone
(the hills)." (l :29 mins)

"The 4000-5000 guns and arms that were looted till now, who had even caught them and confiscated? NONE has been caught nor confiscated till date. Nobody has the guts to catch me, the CM. The looted arms have not been caught nor the looters, it's all because of Me and my power." (2:49 mins & 40:53 mins)

"I told the NIA sleuths who arrested the perpetrators not to punish them but to reward them for saving their lives." (11 :45 mins)
"I know this war was started by me." (17:57 mins)
"Today you all are a witness that, had I Not been the CM nobody would have allowed to use Bombs on them." (44:09 mins)

"Let us unite all the valley-based insurgent groups like UNLF, PREPAK, UNLF (Pambe), etc., with Police Commandos. Let us make a team from the above groups." (45:01 mins)

In light of these revelations, the KSO General Headquarters is willing to share the full audio clip with any media or government agency interested in conducting an analysis for authenticity, be it through acoustic analysis, forensic audio analysis, or any other method.
