@onlyindreams730 Mastodon can be that with the right mix of people. But I find it more complicated and I don't know that it'll really catch on in that way.
That said, I'm in a Philly group and the sports people were live commentating on sports ball stuff and loving it.
@AmritaGurney After webinars, I can quickly share with our sales team who joined, who was active, what questions they asked... Helpful intel for active deals. I wouldn't get that with on-demand.
@AmritaGurney I should have wrote, "I don't care how many people attend," not "I don't care who attends!"
Attendance matters, and I do care who joins. But I don't look at that as the most important metric.
For the people that show up, the interaction is very valuable (and fun!)
@ClickPop β€οΈ What's an example of "true" v. "not true" feedback, though?
I think most of my feedback is "maybe this true... I think it would benefit you to explore," but I rarely like to assume truth without data.
@hello_margot Radical Candor (Kim Scott) is a must, I think. I've also found that understanding what motivates different people is more important than trying to find a management guide that fits all. For that, I recommend Drive by Daniel Pink. Congrats and good luck!
Tell me how your life's going by sharing a Valentine's Day email subject line you've received today.
I'll go first...
"Happy Valentine's Day β₯οΈ from Metamucil"
π₯°π€£ Love you too @Metamucil
@alisongroves@lovevalgeisler I'm a big fan of Gut, Data, Gut thinking. Wonderful balance. Sukhinder Singh Cassidy describes it well.
