Jesus Paid It All
“He was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.”
~ Isaiah 53:5
When the Almighty breaks through our earthbound existence, we stand in awe. We suddenly realize that we’re more spiritual than physical. We’re made for another world, for the heavenly kingdom. We’re never the same after a holy encounter with God. These moments light a fire in us.
ARE YOU COOL OR GOOD?
"What they see are people just being really cool, so they think that's how they're going to act.
They haven't figured out which foot to use as a pivot foot and they're going to act like they're really good players."

“Holy God appeals to our rebellious souls, asking us to return to Him so He can bring rest, healing, and restoration to the entirety of our lives. Following God’s path, His ways will always and ultimately bring life, healing, and wholeness. Discern God’s ways and walk in it.”
From Susie Larson: “Following Jesus isn’t about rigid religion or pious self-denial, it’s about understanding and believing God when He says that sin, rebellion, and self-sufficiency are devastating to the soul and in direct conflict to His kingdom ways.
Why follow Jesus? His way is the best for us. As well, we are created to follow Christ. We are created for God to love and for us to love Him with all our heart. We are created to be united with Him not to be separated from Him.
@RussellJaveon@StPX_Baseball@stlgamers@PBRMissouri Javeon, you have a good swing on it’s way to becoming better and better. Growing in your ability to stay on the outside pitch and taking it the other way will only make you a better and more complete hitter. Keep working brother!
PARENTS: One day, our kids will be finished playing sports and they will be adults raising their own kids. The best thing that we can do now is to teach them how to be good, happy people so they can, in turn, one day raise good, happy people.
Challenge your eyes, hands & reaction time. Compete vs. machine, self, and others. You can’t be afraid to look bad if you want to be great. The DOMINATE 2 STRIKES drill will make you look bad..till mastered.
** Hitting is all about being on time to pitches thrown with intent to disrupt timing. This drill, if done regularly, will build a hitters confidence to handle velocity, adjust to varying speeds and improve 2 strike hitting. Move closer to machine (set in this case at max velo FB) after every swing…till overmatched. Then reverse the process back to starting point. Note: feeder may have to lower machine as hitter gets closer and raise as hitter moves back to starting position.
** VERY IMPORTANT: Wear a batting helmet!

• Not being married to one swing, one theme
• How’s the pitcher going to try to get you out? Use it against him 🔑
"Every team wants to win - every player wants to win - every coach.
But it's really the teams that honor what goes into winning and work at those things every single day that will be highly successful.
In order to win large victories, you first have to win small victories."
Players...Coaches will tell the TRUTH about you.
What would they say about your:
1. Make Up
2. Work Ethic
3. Toughness
4. Maturity
5. Ability to be a Great Teammate
6. Strength (weight room)
7. Competitiveness
You have to get those things RIGHT before you expect recruiting HELP!
Ask your coach how he would answer those questions about you.
You are only as good as the pitches you swing at. Even if you have the purest swing mechanics on the planet, you will have unproductive at-bats and routinely get yourself out chasing and expanding the zone. So instead of continually, and often unnecessarily, tinkering with your swing, first order of business is to reflect on pitch selection and your plan when you step in the box.
Your culture doesn't exist when the coach is present. You find your culture anywhere players are present. The culture of a team is how the players act when the coach isn't around.
𝗕𝗮𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 ... NOBODY reminds anyone of the standards
𝗔𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 ... COACHES remind team of the standards
𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 ... CAPTAINS remind team of the standards
𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 ... EVERYONE reminds each other of the standards
Winning cultures don’t have athletes pointing fingers, blaming others, or making excuses.
Winning cultures don't have coaches doing these things either.
Winning cultures have people coming together to find solutions, share results, and take responsibility for the process.
Teammates who trust, love, and respect each other will strive to make each other better. They will remind each other of the standards. This will lead to a strong and healthy culture.
