@nursekelsey However, I can think of several reasons to EXCLUDE it also. And generally, I do not like being reminded of that experience if it's not relevant in that moment.
@nursekelsey If it's relevant to the message or information being shared, I think it could be important to include for context for the audience, especially as we get further away from that time/experience. (like it's been 4 years already?!?!)
“fuck it, i’ll do it!” —black women
Black women are routinely erased from public memory and historical narratives of resistance.
Black women powered the civil rights movement, but rarely became its stars. #InternationalWomensDay
A THREAD!
.@RepShontelBrown@SenVancePress@SenSherrodBrown The wage gap still persists in nearly every industry & occupation in our country. The women you represent work hard and deserve fair pay. Their families depend on it. Please support the Paycheck Fairness Act! #PaycheckFairnessAct
On this day 34 years ago, Carl Sagan commanded Voyager 1 to take this picture of earth from deep in the outer solar system. He would later reflect upon the significant insignificance of Earth in his famous Pale Blue Dot essay:
“From this distant vantage point, the Earth might not seem of any particular interest. But for us, it's different. Consider again that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.”

A brand just dropped my favorite Super Bowl commercial, but they haven't tweeted it yet...
Brands, you GOTTA simultaneously drop the ad on Twitter. That's Super Bowl digital ad strategy 101.
How much art have we lost to following the never-ending social media scroll?
What novels haven’t been written?
What songs got away?
What movies died inside some creative person’s brain?
