Hearing this need, Translating Falasteen (@translatingpal) x The Sameer Project launched a bus route from Beit Lahia to Gaza City and back. Listen to the testimonies from our very first passengers yesterday, December 27. Our bus transportation is for free, while the local municipality charges 10 shekels (in change only which many people don’t have) as fair, each way.

Our bus runs from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm bringing anyone who needs to get into Gaza City - to shop for food, to visit doctors, to work. You can see on the passengers faces just how big of a relief this new service is!

The daily operations cost around $310 after 15% cash commission and on December 27th we served 250 people with transport. Help us maintain this much needed service by donating to the North Campaign link.
