A better banking experience starts with a sustainable workweek. With acute staff shortages and mounting stress, 5-day banking is about public service and employee well-being, not a privilege.
UFBU has been pressing since 2015; IBA has already recommended it to the Government (MoU 07-12-2023), and the 12th Bipartite/9th Joint Note (08-03-2024) records the Saturday holiday clause, pending approvals/clearances.
Honour what’s on record. Approve all Saturdays off.

Though the culprit Mr.Mayur Borde is arrested but this reprehensible act has instilled fear and insecurity among the bank staff, who now find it increasingly difficult to serve the public under such hostile conditions. Given the proximity of the upcoming elections, there is a real and pressing concern that such incidents may become more frequent unless decisive action is taken to curb this menace.

We urgently request respected @mieknathshinde , @Dev_Fadnavis @AjitPawarSpeaks to instruct @CollectorJalna @sp_jalna and @ssaunik @DGPMaharashtra to take immediate steps to ensure that he is dealt with in accordance with the full force of the law.
