A dev I talked to said his favorite tool for development recently is called:
(I was expecting some AI IDE)
(Drumroll… it wasn’t)
Tuple!
It’s a lair programming tool that allows “taking over” the other person’s screen/IDE. Apparently his whole team uses it daily & love it
Our Head of Growth told me I need to do a better job of telling y'all about the cool shit we're building.
How would you use a local agent (Claude Code, Codex, etc.) on your Tuple calls?
@DaveSchinkel we're not going to do this in-app right now, but it's a great use case for triggers. our CEO wrote the most loud and most jolting version on a whim which you can clone and configure to something less insane: https://t.co/Av5TMm4gVq
@DaveSchinkel I hear you - the visual is easy to miss on big monitors in particular. to reconfirm, the sound does play for you when folks join but you don't notice it either?
@DaveSchinkel agreed! when someone joins a call, users should get this notification in the top right. provided you have "Play ringtones" enabled in Audio settings, you should also hear a chime. let us know if one or neither of those is happening and we'll investigate
@digital_parad0x@stonecharioteer@dhh@OmarchyLinux Fair call out 😅 - we ended up punting the formal beta and instead made the alpha broadly available. You can grab it here (and join our Slack community for feedback/updates): https://t.co/XDjiggj0IP
