@NeoKuroTV@BionicIguana@hankgreen Also split systems (permanent heat pump/AC) are more energy efficient than the portable units. Plus people forget they heat too. It just gives you more control and comfort over your interior space when you want it.
@JerkPup@GJarrosson Eh it's a simple enough way to iterate quickly until you land on a real production design, then you can optimize part production/sourcing from cots materials once you know what works/is critical.
@fasso_burk6005@ordinarytings As patents expire current gen meds will be cheap (see previous drugs in the US). There might be more effective patented brand drugs that are available then but availability will absolutely be improved.
@ordinarytings 100%. I have a 16month old child. Her generation obesity will absolutely be a oddity compared to today.
I am also so close to a non overweight BMI after skirting close to an obese BMI because of these drugs.
@PunkyMantilla And if you take them, take them all so whatever you're targeting fucking dies and doesn't accidentally select for antibiotic resistance. (Tbh it's normally less than the full course but just fucking make sure it's all dead)
@AriJordan444@freganmitts@BasOMatic And you have to maintain those traps otherwise they just eventually turn into breeding grounds again.
Clogged gutters too, throw some half dunks into your gutters and your neighbors gutters.
It's a hard battle for some properties
@Mile35934527774@planefag@tracewoodgrains Do you not realize incompetent for trial in a case like that means imprisonment in a mental ward in order to try and recover them to stand trial? They'll be held forever if they never become competent
@open_erv I have a rosenthal-corsi setup in my woodshop. Blowing into the filters traps wood dust well too. It's great and the fan has variable speed. Downside is the filter cost but that's a every 90-180 days thing depending on how much im in the shop.
Huge improvement in air quality
@tonnyabet@taekookkiss@AP Nowhere says that in the paper. Closest you get that quote is about the syndrome "HPS is caused by New World hantaviruses that have been identified since the syndrome was first recognized in the southwestern United States in 1993" but that's not Andes virus specifically.
@hubermanlab I can attest to #2 for sure. My prescribed tirzepatide has absolutely made me fine with injectables. Probably helps it's really effective.
@Ostsol@SamaHoole And these sailors and farmers probably died of infection a lot earlier and more often than most people start dying of skin cancer.
We've comparatively stopped sudden fast young death and now we die slower/chronic deaths older.
@allie__voss He can probably get some more reasonable ordinances adopted by the town playing the politics game. Like it's pretty straightforward to lobby local gov for problems. Clearly this is a dumb solution they're implementing
@TheBitcoinNurse@WhelanHealth You'll never buy gas and get the state gas tax revenue is why you get charged the extra $100. It makes some sense in the grand scheme but really we should be charging these registration fees based on vehicle weight overall (would not help evs tho) and that would make more sense.
@cybelethebest If they have outdoor greeter/coordination staff you might be able to alert them and get away with it being "semi supervised" or something.
@piat244841479@jason_memez@5solas I mean like cosmically does anyone matter? Nah. But like we matter to each other. Those things can be believed at the same time. An uncaring universe is not at odds with us finding meaning in helping each other.
