The next frontiers of global influence – the seabed, Arctic, and space – will be shaped by those who can power them.
Today, we’re announcing @zeno_power’s $50M Series B to build nuclear batteries that deliver years of reliable energy in these contested environments.
We applaud @NASAAdmin Jared Isaacman's bold vision for building the @NASAMoonBase.
Radioisotope power systems, like RHUs and RTGs, will be the energy foundation to establish a sustained lunar presence.
The @NASA Reauthorization Act signals bipartisan support for deploying space nuclear power this decade. 🚀 Our CEO @tybernstein explains how Zeno can pull that timeline to the left.

Congrats to @rookisaacman on becoming @NASA Administrator!
Jared has been a bold advocate for space nuclear power, from lunar surface fission to nuclear propulsion and radioisotope power systems.
We are looking forward to working with him to accelerate nuclear-enabled missions to the Moon, Mars and beyond to strengthen America’s leadership in space. 🚀
.@zeno_power has signed an agreement to acquire nuclear waste that it can repurpose to power long-duration and deep-space missions.

Big thanks to @WBJonline & @DC_Inno for naming Zeno a 2025 Fire Awards honoree. Pumped to see our friends over at @xenergynuclear on the list, too.
Nuclear innovation is bringing the 🔥 to the DMV region.

Thrilled to welcome @ac_charania, former NASA Chief Technologist, as Zeno’s new SVP of Space Business Development.
With the second space race and the Golden Dome driving a surge of activity across the space sector, persistent power has never been more crucial.
A.C. has built his career at the cutting edge of what’s next in space – from commercial launch when it was still an unproven market to lunar landers before we had a return date to the Moon. Today the next frontier is nuclear power – and he’ll ensure Zeno leads the way in providing reliable power on the Moon, Mars, beyond.
It's not every day a retired four-star Admiral steps into our lab. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had the honor of hosting Adm. John Richardson (USN Ret., former CNO + Zeno board member) for a hands-on look at our work building next-gen nuclear batteries.
In a new era of great power competition, whoever can provide reliable power to new strategic frontiers – from the seabed to the lunar surface – will write the rules and lead the way.
Our Co-Founder & CEO @tyberstein joined @MorganLBrennan on @CNBC to discuss the urgent need for resilient energy in frontier regions, and how Zeno is building the technology to deliver it.
.@Zeno_power closed a $50M Series B to help the company begin producing nuclear batteries for commercial and defense customers by 2027.

With our Series B funding, we’re on track to demonstrate full-scale nuclear batteries in 2026 and begin deliveries to customers in 2027 – helping the U.S. and our allies lead the way from the oceans to space.

Today, we’re announcing @zeno_power’s $50M Series B to build nuclear batteries that deliver years of reliable energy in these contested environments.
Over the past three years, we’ve secured over $60 million in contracts from @DeptofDefense and @NASA, built and demonstrated our first nuclear prototype at @PNNLab, and secured our nuclear supply chain in partnership with @EMcleanup and @WECNuclear.
