SBI Chief Manager slapped by Senior Officer for leaving early to celebrate child's birthday. Can't Bank employees celebrate birthday of their childs also? The toxicity in banking is increasing day by day. The incident took place in Junagadh Gujarat.
The complaint has been filed by Chief Manager Ravindra Dharmanath Prasad against SBI Office Head Sudhir Sharma, who is posted at the SBI office near Bhadadheen College.

A shocking trend in the banking sector,Out of 700 selected candidates for PNB, only 25 turned up to join.
It is no secret anymore selected candidates are rejecting bank jobs because of the toxic work environment and lack of work-life balance. Banks desperately need an overhaul of their work culture, or they will completely lose out on the next generation of talented staff.

today there was hearing scheduled in PLI for scale 4 upwards case filed by AIBOC and others .reportedly lawyers were on strike so case not heard and next date is 6 oct 2026 .

A dangerous trend is unfolding in Indian banking.
A district administration issues directions that effectively push bank employees into:
➡️ Full-time banking operations
➡️ PLUS Census duties after office hours, on Saturdays & Sundays
➡️ WITHOUT relieving them from core banking responsibilities
And the biggest question is:
Where is the regulator?
If banks are regulated institutions under RBI supervision, was RBI consulted before such expectations were imposed on banking staff ?
Or has RBI now become a silent spectator while bankers are treated as an endlessly stretchable workforce ?
An independent regulator is expected to protect systemic stability, operational discipline and institutional boundaries , not remain invisible while administrative overreach impacts banking employees and potentially banking services themselves.
And equally disappointing is the silence of so-called “majority unions”.
Where are @aiboc_in and @AIBEAofficial ?
Why are they mute spectators every time workload, exploitation and work-life imbalance of bankers reaches intolerable levels ?
When bankers are:
• Working extended hours
• Facing staff shortages
• Managing relentless pressure
• Sacrificing weekends and family life
…trade unions should have been the FIRST to raise their voice.
Instead, silence has become routine.
National duty is respected by every banker.
But respect for bankers cannot become optional.
This issue deserves immediate clarification from RBI, DFS and the Government regarding:
✔ Administrative boundaries
✔ Employee protection
✔ Operational accountability
✔ Workload and fatigue risks in banking services
Bankers are not machines.

on Monday night I was talking to a senior executive of our bank regarding the March quarter financial performance of our bank.
He said that our operating profit will be around 7000 cr i said no it will be around 7500 cr and net profit too would be around dec quarter numbers. .
and here you are
dec 25 OP was. 7480 cr
March 26 OP. 7500 cr
dec 25 NP. 5100 cr
March 26 NP. 5225 cr .
Why was I able to predict correctly because I know how any listed company's balance sheet is prepared .
The CEO gives in advance what numbers he or she wants to show and accordingly the team assigned with the task to prepare the balance sheet tries to arrive at that figure .
and this happens in every company.
and I have been able to read the mindset of every MD & CEO of our bank correctly in the last 10 years including the present one and I had an inkling that he will not show these 2 figures below dec 25 figures .
