People will constantly attack you in life.
One of their main weapons will be to instill in you doubts about yourself – your worth, your abilities, your potential.
They will often disguise this as their objective opinion, but invariably it has a political purpose – they want to keep you down.
@mhdksafa Because Jesus never advocated for theft. He never enticed mobs to take from the rich and "redistribute". He showed the way but did not steal the means of production to violently force everyone to follow the way.
@paulg That is probably number one on the list for me as well. Second on the list would be tradeoffs, how scarcity creates tradeoffs. It takes such a long time to finally understand and accept this.
@nntaleb There is a video circulating on X of a man 91 years old who has been indoor rowing every day for 50 years. He spends 80%-90% of the time in moderate rowing intensity and the remainder in high intensity. He has the VO2 of a 60 year old.
