@fatkat_k @luinalaska …but the doctors were just down the hall. My son was born with complications that we couldn’t see on ultrasounds so we would have never known. As soon as the midwife saw something unusual, she told my son’s father to get me in the car and she would meet us at the hospital.

@fatkat_k @luinalaska Nope. Totally different. I was originally supposed to have a home birth but we always had the hospital as a backup in case of complications, which is exactly where my son was born. Still did it naturally and with a midwife and doulas instead of doctors…
