@jsn_yrty@dustin_childs@chompie1337 20 years ago somebody didn't know language and started calling their work "vulnerability development". Nobody bothered to fix it.
Now people need to waste a minute to understand what it means and you sound dumb when explaining to people not in the field.
@alexanderrX_ If you spend next few years following these principles: https://t.co/bIpLhmUI9e you will be on 110%
Not in 8 years, but in like 2-3 probably.
@shenetworks Hey @grok , could a person with this kind of money travel to Europe or Asia and get those same medications with all travel costs covered? :D
Most people have been switching note taking apps, and there is no perfect alternative for paid ones.
Obsidian has been the loved alternative, but still it is missing some features people loved in Notion for example.
If note taking replacement is so hard, imagine doing it for multiple products.
@planedrop@DanielMiessler You are still arguing that I will find perfect alternative.
I'm saying there is really small chance it exists.
And having AI power you have a chance to make it.
I have only seen exact same paid software in free hosting version when creator is charging you only for hosting if you don't want to do it yourself.
You are talking about alternatives that are similar to paid ones.
My point is that I wouldn't want to adjust to new workflows, I want to have the same features working the same way it works on paid version.
@planedrop@DanielMiessler I will not be surprised, because you can't find me exact same alternatives for those paid products.
Some features will be missing or behaving a little different, I don't want that.
@planedrop@DanielMiessler You don't have all of those available for self hosting (not with all the same features you love).
But using AI power you can produce them.
Opus 4.7 first-hour impressions
Ran the canvas tree growth test twice.
4.6: nailed the animation both times
4.7: static tree, no growth animation β twice
4.7's thinking is noticeably shorter and faster though (trimmed some 4.6 thinking in the clip for pacing).
Not the upgrade direction I expected on this one.

Ok, got it now!
It found some bugs using less tokens, doing baby steps.
At the end not proven it can find all bugs 4.6 found with the same or less tokens, you just took data from your initial test, which could be misleading.
Still not satisfied with your blog post, please make better tests in future.
