We’re excited to share that we just signed an agreement for @salesforce to acquire @fin_ai for ~$3.6B. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2027.
Fin started as Intercom 15 years ago. We changed our name to cap our transformation just weeks ago. We were a darling of the SaaS era and invented so many of the patterns you see in software today. Nearly four years ago, in need of a reboot, we jumped on weeks-old modern LLMs to create and define the category we know as Customer Agents today.
Salesforce invented modern software and SaaS. And @benioff is like the final boss of tech founder CEOs. In seat for 27 years, he’s one of the last of his era. Still pushing, pivoting, placing big bets. It’s a privilege for @destraynor and I to get to partner with him and join forces with Salesforce upon close at this most fascinating time. And will be very fun to get their help bringing Fin to magnitudes more consumers.
To our customers: Over the past few years we’ve been shipping intensely. Including recently our groundbreaking model, Apex, and our paradigm-defining internal agent, Operator. With the resources of Salesforce this will only accelerate. And yet little will practically change. I’ll still be CEO, Des will still be running R&D, we’ll both still be committed to continuing to lead this category. Thank you very sincerely and deeply for your belief in us.
To all of our friends, our families, and our employees, past and present: While this is not the end, it is a major, pivotal, special, and emotional moment for us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. For everything.
To my cofounders, my exec team: Look what we built. Four young lads with a dream and nothing to lose. And a home grown exec team who pulled off the greatest and arguably only late stage software company pivot to AI, and invented one of the most important categories in AI. Thank you for sticking through all of this with me.
And now, time to get back to work. See you at our next product launch in a couple weeks. (:
We're thrilled to announce that we have raised $234M in the first close of our $300M Series B at a $1.5B valuation.
@HCLTech and @BessemerVP have joined us in this round, alongside continued support from @khoslaventures and @peakxvpartners
For countries and companies, sovereign control on the AI stack is no longer an optionality. Sarvam will be the partner of choice for this aspiration. The capital allows us to accelerate our momentum towards this full stack of models, compute, and deployments.
A huge thank you to our customers, partners, investors, and the Sarvam team for your trust and belief in what we are building. We’re just getting started.

@KiranaClubAppbegins a new chapter 🎉
A few years ago, Anshul (@baniaintech) and I started Kirana Club with a question: why does a kirana owner in a small town in UP have worse access to products, pricing, and information than a supermarket in Bangalore?
We didn't have a clear answer. We just knew it needed to be solved.
We started with a community. Retailers talking to each other about schemes, prices, which brands were worth stocking, in their own languages, on their own terms. That trust became the foundation for everything we built after.
That community became a platform. The platform became a marketplace. And now, Kirana Club is part of @Meesho_Official
We’re proud of what we built. Not just the numbers, but the fact that a kirana owner in a small town can now discover a new brand, compare prices and place an order from his phone. That didn't exist before.
Meesho felt like the right partner because of how similarly we think. Technology, marketplace models, operational efficiency, all in service of users that most of the industry hadn't really built for. That shared conviction is what made this feel right.
Going to villages in Bihar together, sitting with kirana owners, watching @viditaatrey ask the same questions we'd been asking for years. That's when the fit stopped being theoretical.
Kirana Club will continue to operate independently within the Meesho group, with the same team, retailers, and mission we started with.
Grateful to every retailer who trusted us, every team member who believed in this, and every investor who backed us when the path wasn't obvious.
We're just getting started.
We’ve just raised $175M, in a round co-led by @paradigm, @a16zcrypto, and @RibbitCapital, the largest raise DeFi has ever seen.
Credit is the bedrock of our civilization, but the infrastructure underneath is fragmented, extractive, and closed to most of the world. That is what @Morpho is here to change.
Morpho is building the open credit network for the world. The global credit market is $ 200T. We are building the infrastructure layer that will move it onchain, and every institution, fintech, and bank that wants to participate in the next era of finance will connect to this network.
After four years of being heads down building Morpho, we now count more than $11B in deposits and integrations with leading financial institutions including @Coinbase, @Binance, @FireblocksHQ, @SG_Forge, @krakenfx, @Bitwise, and dozens of others building on Morpho to offer better products to their users. But this is just the beginning.
This raise will allow us to accelerate: activating the global credit network at scale, building the go-to-market engine to match our ambition, and bringing more institutions onto the network faster.
Having any kind of onchain strategy in this era will mean going through Morpho at some point. Reach out and let's talk. And if you want to help build the open credit network for the world, we have plenty of open roles.
Let’s fly 🦋

Strong Q1 for @Snowflake. ❄️
$1.33B product revenue, up 34% YoY. Accelerating from 30% last quarter and 26% a year ago.
AI is strengthening Snowflake on multiple levels:
→ core platform growth accelerating as customers get their data AI-ready
→ AI products Snowflake Intelligence and CoCo seeing rapid adoption
→ use of AI products increasing overall platform consumption
This is the flywheel of the Agentic Enterprise.
I'm beyond excited to announce that I’m joining @Lightspeed as a Partner on the early-stage investing team and helping to build everything they're doing in new media.
I've spent the last six years investing in early-stage companies, and the last year building a media platform in parallel. What started as a side quest has reached 350,000+ followers and millions of viewers a month.
For me, investing and storytelling have always been two halves of the same job. This work has put me in rooms with incredible founders, researchers, and operators - many of whom have become close friends, collaborators, and early stage bets. There's so much happening at the frontier right now, and the media platform has given me a way to be in those conversations early (and to bring the people I admire most into a wider audience).
When Lightspeed reached out, we saw the same opportunity. Venture and media are converging, and the next generation of great firms will need to show up differently: reaching founders and builders before they've even started a company, and being the place where people first get excited about what's happening in tech.
With more than $50 billion in AUM, Lightspeed has been building alongside founders at the frontier of technology for decades. It's a firm I've admired for years since I started investing - for its intellectual rigor, its long-term conviction, and the way it approaches company building. I’m excited to join a team that brings real depth and substance to its work, and I hope to bring that same ethos to everything I put out.
Thank you to @ravi_lsvp, @bsomaia , and @Machiz for believing in this vision and trusting me to help build it. I’m so excited to see what we do together.
If you're an early-stage founder, building or thinking about starting something, or just curious about this ecosystem - please reach out. My DMs are open and I’d love to chat!
Krishna Rao is the CFO of Anthropic, and this is his first podcast appearance.
He joined the company two years ago when run-rate revenue was about $250M. Today it is $30B. He has helped raise ~$75B and is responsible for the procurement and allocation of compute.
I feel lucky we get to hear what it is like to sit inside a company this consequential at a moment this pivotal.
We discuss:
- The cone of uncertainty
- How he allocates compute across Trainium, TPUs, and GPUs
- What investors misunderstand about model companies
- Why the returns to frontier intelligence keep rising
- Platform vs application and where Anthropic builds its own products
- How Anthropic uses Claude internally
I have asked my closing question about the kindest thing more than 500 times. Krishna's answer is one I have never heard before.
Enjoy!

Great to meet @gautam_adani in Ahmedabad this morning and build on our existing partnership with the Adani group.
As India fast emerges as a leading innovation hub for @Uber, we are setting up our first data center in the country with the Adani Group to test and deploy our tech. Ready later this year, this investment will help us build at scale - from India, for the world.
Closed our Series C fundraise over the weekend. And that gets us to a new starting line 🙏🏼
We have brought onboard long-term investors, who we believe will help us in executing the vision + strategy across this next phase. Me & the team are super excited about working with them, given the moats we could create with the success of these partnerships.
@leverageedu is focused on
• strengthening existing corridors 🇮🇳 🇳🇬 >🇬🇧, + building new ones 🇮🇳🇳🇵🇻🇳 🇹🇭 > 🇺🇸 🇦🇺
• piloting with new GTMs to further scale down CAC
• continuing to use content-first product-first approach to drive efficiencies
• + further improve value prop for students
We are now more obsessed with a student’s ‘complete success’, right till the end. That’s what birthed @flydotfinance 💰 1.5-2 years back, & now Fly Homes 🏡
Lot more 0>1 happening here. Adrenaline pumping.
On the overall business: Want to more than double our revenue & hit full year EBITDA in next financial year.
Thank you to everyone who wrote in to congratulate and wish us best 🙏🏼
Publicly stated goal remains the same. We want to IPO in the next few years. As a value stock. Where we can retain the same DNA (of #StudentFirst) for Shareholders as well, not just the believers of today but even the guy who enters at that time, playing our absolute best to make them win.
^ though until then, there’s a lot to do, lot to fix, lot to course-correct. We have been EBITDA+ for a bit. But don’t generate cash yet. That’s a big one.
We want to bring even more tech across each of our stakeholders (students, universities, partners, support staff et al) - to make ourselves more efficient, make service TAT topmost not just in our industry but among the best in the world. And we aim to build a strong brand on a frugal budget. Experimenting along the way, like we always have. Learning everyday. Getting a bit better everyday.
Last, and most importantly, privileged to build this alongside a smashing team. They are incredible. I love them. I feel responsible for their success. The 200 Leveragians who own ESOP. The TGIS winners. Leverage = them, their incredible journeys as well 👊🏽
+ fortunate to have super supportive existing investors, who have been patient advisors, helped navigate in challenging times, trusted, coached, and always put the business first 🙏🏼
It’s been fun growing up. Onto the 7th year now. With big dreams. Head down. Ambitious, but cautious. Believer of the macros, but in love with the granularity of the micros that our easy-on-outside complex-on-inside business is :)
Rest, the party has only begun ..
Leverage It!
In India a bad accountant/CFO and lawyer can do more lasting damage to your startup than almost any other team member. I've worked with a lot of them in 10+yrs but I still have no idea how to find a good one. Does anyone else know how?
