Mayo Clinic is being sued by its former AI compliance lead, who is alleging the hospital network tried to hide its AI tool’s 67% error rate at patients’ expense.
The lawsuit alleges staff deleted results and mischaracterized outcomes to cover up the AI tool’s mistakes. The former employee says Mayo fired her in retaliation when she tried to raise her concerns.
