The least that could have been done by the consulate to ease this transition is to extend the validity of MRV fees paid by a year. This would greatly reduce anxiety amongst people like us who are looking for slots but unable to book them.

@ericgarcetti @USAmbIndia The new visa portal is a joke. The entire transition to this new portal has been handled in a very pathetic way. Many people are facing issues with logging in or retrieving their profiles from the old portal, where they had already paid the MRV fees.
