This is a country when Prime Minister @narendramodi asked middle class people to voluntarily give up LPG subsidies, more than 10 million families did so. To middle class, Modi could do no wrong. He was the messiah who has come to revive India.

The same middle class is now disenchanted with Prime Minister. Not only middle class; the list is long including investors, SMEs, small traders and so on. This is solely due to mishandling by finance ministry. The day to day struggle has increased. There is no ease of living for anyone except political class.

I can say this with high conviction. If elections are conducted today, especially after the latest budget by @nsitharaman, BJP would lose the power by a huge margin.

Sir @narendramodi, if you don't make your finance ministry people friendly, people would cease to be BJP friendly.

In terms of managing expectations and aspirations of people, finance minister has been a huge disaster.

All 3 roads are made and maintained by the NHAI. National Highways!

For all the bogus lofty talks of the “push on infrastructure” and “infrastructure spend” and “kilometres made per day”, this is the real state of the 3 major highways given to contractor friends of those in the ministry.

Thank you @htTweets for highlighting the plight of our National Highways and the bogus talk we hear on “infrastructure”.

We as Maharashtra pay the highest taxes and get this in return, along with the toll.

Same is the case with MSRDC and the roads it has made in the recent past.

Yes, this is a National Highway.

While heading towards Mumbai, it took us two hours to travel four kilometres between Royal Garden Resort and Fountain Hotel on NH48.

On a Tuesday evening. With no religious festivals, no accidents, no extraordinary rains, nothing. This is simply the state of the highway and traffic every day. In the financial capital of the country.

The road doesn't have potholes. The potholes have a road. Chandrayaan-3 will have a more stable landing on the moon than cars have on this patch.

It is the same thing, every after year, for decades. Anyone who travels through this patch knows the nuisance that it causes everyone. The infamous Fountain Hotel - where you lose 2 hours of your life that you can never get back.

Dear @nitin_gadkari ji, I appreciate your work. Once you are done attending conclaves, I request you to travel on this highway with your officers on any day of the week, at any time you choose, and just experience the torture that ordinary people go through on a daily basis.

Is this what Mumbaikars deserve?

Everyday, first task seems to be how/when to be to reach office, schedule revolves around the time we reach.. somedays it takes 4.5- hours for 30km journey, bullet trains & bullock cart speed,same India.. all eminent people tagged, an entire industry is suffering.!!
