💥 New today in the API: GPT 4.1, GPT 4.1 mini, and GPT 4.1 nano.
These models are great at coding (54 on SWE-bench verified for a non-reasoning model!) and instruction following, and all three offer 1M context. We've also dropped prices: GPT 4.1 is 26% cheaper than 4o, and 4.1 nano is just 12c/MTok blended.
Also: free GPT 4.1 in Windsurf for the next 7 days!
We're super excited about GPT 4.1. Try it out and let me know what you think.
submitting new @arcinternet mobile browser to Apple today !!!
in celebration, here's one of my fav directions we prototyped (inspired by the iPhone wallet app):
Excited to announce we've raised 73.6M$ at 520M$ valuation, led by IVP, along with our seed and Series A lead investors NEA, Elad Gil, Nat Friedman. Honored to have NVIDIA, Jeff Bezos, @tobi, Databricks, @naval, @rauchg, @balajis partner in this round, among others.
Google made massive improvements to Bard, with Gemini Pro now ranking higher than regular GPT-4.
Keep in mind, Gemini Pro is Google's SECOND best model. We're still waiting on Gemini Ultra.
Expect OpenAI to drop a new model anytime now to stay in the lead.
Perplexity has become my most used AI app by the end of 2023. I use it for fact-seeking questions -- including recent news / facts, summarizing opinions and recommendations on products and much more.
ChatGPT + Browsing can do similar stuff, but its like 100x slower, and is often stochastic on things ( temperature or new model updates).
Google for fact-seeking sucks because its overrun by blog-spam. The number of Google queries that I now add "site:https://t.co/WfBtgNx2QL" to has increased like crazy.
congrats @AravSrinivas@denisyarats@randomjohnnyh on hitting 10m users and the new round of funding!
