Suspected Human Trafficking Update on TCS Nashik Jihad Case

The complainant, a Dalit woman who first approached the police with a complaint, has made shocking revelations:

1. Danish had taken away her documents: Aadhaar, passport, marksheets, all originals telling her he would get her posted in Malaysia.
2. Along with this woman, 12 others had also given their documents to Danish, believing they would all be settled in Malaysia.
3. Danish had connected them with a man named Imran, who would show them the lives of women who had already gone to Malaysia.
4. Danish told this woman: “Your family members don’t love you. Don’t ruin your life for them. Work to excel in life, they cannot see you grow. Their restrictions will take away your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
5. There is only one God, Allah, and offering namaz to Him will get them appraisals.
6. Danish and Mohsin had opened bank accounts in the names of many Hindu women. The documents belonged to these women, but the mobile numbers linked to the accounts were Danish’s. They were making big transactions in these accounts. For instance, the Dalit woman’s account had a first transaction of Rs 18 lakh.

What were they up to?

Were they trafficking these women to Malaysia or somewhere else?

As Danish had told the woman, “Marrying you was never my plan,” then what was the plan?

Today marks the 8th day of the Panguni festival at Srirangam. Exactly 703 years ago, on this very day, an event of immense consequence unfolded—one that altered the course of Tamilakam’s history.

The people gathered within the sacred temple premises had heard that Ulugh Khan, later known as Mohammad bin Tughlaq, had reached Kannanur Koppam, today’s Samayapuram, with his army. But the people of this land had seen many wars between kings before. Those conflicts, however fierce, had rarely disturbed the life of the temple or the sanctity of its festivals. Believing that this too would pass without touching the Lord’s abode, the devotees chose to continue with the celebrations.

What they did not know was that this army was not merely passing through.

Suddenly, armed and trained soldiers of the Delhi Sultanate descended upon Srirangam. The unarmed devotees — men, women, and children — who had assembled in faith and devotion were caught without defence. In a matter of moments, the temple town was turned into a scene of horror. Tradition remembers that twelve thousand people lost their lives in that brutal massacre. The great temple of Srirangam was sacked, looted, and devastated.

சட்டப்பேரவையில் அரசு தயாரித்த உரையை ஆளுநர் அவர்கள் வாசிக்க மறுத்ததற்கான காரணங்கள் கீழ்வருவன:

1) ஆளுநரின் ஒலிவாங்கி (மைக்) மீண்டும், மீண்டும் அணைக்கப்பட்டது மற்றும் அவர் பேச அனுமதிக்கப்படவில்லை;

2) தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட ஆளுநர் உரையில் ஆதாரமற்ற பல கோரல்களும், தவறான தகவல்களும் இடம்பெற்றிருந்தன. மக்களைப் பாதிக்கும் பல முக்கியப் பிரச்சினைகள் புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன;

3) மாநிலம் ரூபாய் 12 லட்சம் கோடிக்கும் அதிகமான பெரும் முதலீடுகளை ஈர்த்துள்ளது என்ற கூற்று உண்மைக்கு எட்டாத தொலைவில் உள்ளது. வருங்கால முதலீட்டாளர்களுடனான பல புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தங்கள் காகித அளவிலேயே உள்ளன. உண்மையான முதலீடு அதில் ஒரு சிறு பகுதி மட்டுமே. முதலீட்டுத் தரவுகள், முதலீட்டாளர்களுக்கு தமிழ்நாடு குறைவான ஈர்ப்பு மிக்க மாநிலமாக மாறி வருவதை காட்டுகின்றன. நான்கு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்புவரை, மாநிலங்களில் அந்நிய நேரடி முதலீட்டைப் பெறுவதில் தமிழ்நாடு நான்காவது பெரிய மாநிலமாக இருந்தது. இன்று அது ஆறாவது இடத்தில் நீடிக்கவே போராடுகிறது.

4) போக்சோ பாலியல் வன்கொடுமை சம்பவங்கள் 55 சதவீதத்துக்கு மேலாகவும், பெண்களுக்கு எதிரான பாலியல் சீண்டல் சம்பவங்கள் 33 சதவீதத்துக்கு மேலாகவும் அபாயகரமாக அதிகரித்துள்ள போதிலும், பெண்களின் பாதுகாப்புப் பிரச்சினை முற்றிலும் புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது;

5) போதைப்பொருள் மற்றும் போதை மாத்திரைகளின் பரவலான புழக்கம் மற்றும் பள்ளி மாணவர்கள் உள்பட இளைஞர்களிடையே போதைப்பொருள் துஷ்பிரயோக வழக்குகளின் கூர்மையான அதிகரிப்பு, ஒரு மிகத் தீவிரமான கவலையாகும். போதைப்பொருள் பழக்கத்தால் ஒரே ஆண்டில் 2000 (இரண்டாயிரம்) பேர், அவர்களில் பெரும்பாலானோர் இளைஞர்கள், தற்கொலை செய்துள்ளனர். இது நமது எதிர்காலத்தை மிகத் தீவிரமாகப் பாதிக்கிறது. இவை வெகு சாதாரணமாகப் புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன;

6) தலித்துகளுக்கு எதிரான அட்டூழியங்களும், தலித் பெண்களுக்கு எதிரான பாலியல் வன்முறையும் கடுமையாக அதிகரித்து வருகின்றன. இருப்பினும், இவை முற்றிலுமாக புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளன;

7) நமது மாநிலத்தில் ஒரே ஆண்டில் சுமார் 20,000 (இருபதாயிரம்) பேர் தற்கொலை செய்துகொண்டுள்ளனர் - அதாவது கிட்டத்தட்ட தினமும் 65 தற்கொலைகள். நாட்டின் வேறு எங்கும் நிலைமை இவ்வளவு அபாயகரமாக இல்லை. தமிழ்நாடு இந்தியாவின் தற்கொலைத் தலைநகரம் என்று குறிப்பிடப்படுகிறது. இருந்தும், இது அரசாங்கத்திற்கு ஒரு கவலையாகத் தெரியவில்லை. இவை புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன;

8) கல்வித் தரத்தில் தொடர்ச்சியான சரிவும், கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் பரவலான நிர்வாகச் சீர்கேடும் நமது இளைஞர்களின் எதிர்காலத்தைப் பாதகமாகப் பாதிக்கின்றன. 50 சதவீதத்துக்கும் அதிகமான ஆசிரியர் பணியிடங்கள் பல ஆண்டுகளாக காலியாக உள்ளன. மேலும், கௌரவ விரிவுரையாளர்கள் மாநிலம் முழுவதும் அமைதியின்மையுடன் உள்ளனர். நமது இளைஞர்கள் நிச்சயமற்ற எதிர்காலத்தை எதிர்கொள்கின்றனர். இவை அரசுக்கு ஒரு கவலையாகத் தெரியவில்லை; மேலும், இந்தப் பிரச்சினை முற்றிலும் புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது;

9) பல ஆண்டுகளாகத் உள்ளாட்சி தேர்தல்கள் நடத்தப்படாததால், பல ஆயிரம் கிராம ஊராட்சிகள் செயலிழந்து கிடக்கின்றன. அவை நேரடியாக அரசின் சிறப்பு அதிகாரிகளின் கீழ் உள்ளன. கோடிக்கணக்கான மக்களின் அடிமட்ட ஜனநாயக உரிமைகள் மறுக்கப்படுகின்றன. இவை, அரசியலமைப்பின் எழுத்துக்கும் உணர்வுக்கும் எதிரானவை. கிராம ஊராட்சிகள் மீட்டெடுக்கப்படுவதற்காக மக்கள் ஆவலுடன் காத்திருக்கின்றனர். இருப்பினும், இது ஆளுநர் உரையில் குறிப்பிடப்படவே இல்லை.

11) தொழிலை நடத்துவதற்கான வெளிப்படையான மற்றும் மறைமுக செலவுகள் காரணமாக குறு, சிறு மற்றும் நடுத்தரத் தொழில் நிறுவனங்கள் பெரும் அழுத்தத்தில் உள்ளன. அவை வேலைவாய்ப்பு மற்றும் வளர்ச்சிக்கு மிக முக்கியமான துறையாகும். இருப்பினும், நாட்டில் 5.5 கோடிக்கு அதிகமான பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட குறு, சிறு மற்றும் நடுத்தர தொழில் நிறுவனங்கள் உள்ள நிலையில், மகத்தான வளர்ச்சி சாத்தியக்கூறுகள் இருந்தபோதிலும், தமிழ்நாட்டில் சுமார் 40 இலட்சம் நிறுவனங்கள் மட்டுமே உள்ளன. தமிழ்நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த தொழில்முனைவோர் தங்கள் நிறுவனங்களை மற்ற மாநிலங்களில் அமைக்க வேண்டிய கட்டாயத்துக்கு உள்ளாகுகின்றனர். இந்த விவகாரம் முற்றிலுமாக புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது;

12) ஏறக்குறைய அனைத்துத் துறைகளிலும் கீழ்மட்ட ஊழியர்களிடையே பரவலான அதிருப்தி நிலவுகிறது. அவர்கள் அமைதியற்றவர்களாகவும் விரக்தியுடனும் உள்ளனர். அவர்களின் நியாயமான குறைகளைத் தீர்ப்பதற்கான வழிகள் குறித்து எதுவும் குறிப்பிடப்படவில்லை;

13) தேசிய கீதம் மீண்டும் அவமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது மற்றும் அடிப்படை அரசியலமைப்பு கடமை புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Reasons why Governor declined reading the Govt speech in the Assembly:

1- Governor’s Mike was repeatedly switched off and he was not allowed to speak;

2- The speech contains numerous unsubstantiated claims and misleading statements. Several crucial issues troubling the people are ignored;

3- Claim that the state attracted huge investments to the tune of over 12 lakh crores is far from the truth. Many of the MOUs with prospective investors remain only on paper. Actual investment is hardly a fraction of it. Investment data show that Tamil Nadu is becoming less attractive for investors. Until four years ago Tamil Nadu, among the states, was the fourth largest recipient of foreign direct investment. Today it is struggling to remain at the Sixth.

4- Women safety issue is totally ignored though there is alarming increase of over 55% incidents of POCSO Rapes and over 33% increase in incidents of sexual molestation of women;

5- Rampant prevalence of Narcotics and Drugs and sharp increase in Drug abuse cases among youth including school students is a very serious concern. Over 2000 (two thousand) mostly youth committed suicide in one year due to drug abuse. It is seriously jeopardising our future.
It is casually bypassed;

6- Atrocities against Dalits and sexual violence against Dalit women is sharply increasing. However; it is totally bypassed;

7-About 20,000 (Twenty thousand) people in our state committed suicide in one year- almost 65 suicides everyday. Nowhere else in the country the situation is so alarming. Tamil Nadu is being referred as the Suicide Capital of India. Yet it does not seem to concern the government. It is bypassed;

8- There is steady decline in standards of education and widespread mismanagement in educational institutions adversely affecting the future of our youth. More than 50 % faculty positions are vacant for years and guest faculties are restive all over. Our youth are staring at uncertain future.
It does not seem to bother the government and the issue is totally bypassed;

9- Several thousand Village Panchayats are defunct because elections have not been held for years. They are directly under special officers of the government. Crores of people are denied of their rights of grassroots democracy. This is against the letter and spirit of the Constitution. People are anxiously waiting for restoration of Village Panchayats. However, this does not find even a mention in the speech.

10- Several thousand temples in the state are without Board of Trustees and are directly administered by the state government. Millions and millions of devotees are deeply hurt and frustrated with the mismanagement of temples. Crucial directions of the Hon’ble Madras High Court on the restoration and preservation of ancient temples are not implemented even after 5 years. Sentiments of devotees callously ignored;

11- MSME sectors are under huge stress due to visible and invisible costs of running the industry. They are the crucial sector for employment and growth. However, as against over 55 million registered MSMEs in the country Tamil Nadu has only about 4 million despite enormous potential for growth. Entrepreneurs from Tamil Nadu are forced to locate their enterprises in other states. The issue is completely ignored;

12- There is widespread discontentment among lower rung employees in almost all sectors. They are restive and frustrated. No mention of ways to address their genuine grievances;

13- National Anthem is yet again insulted and the Fundamental Constitutional Duty disregarded.

An Hon'ble Division Bench of the Madras High Court RESTORED 3.93 acres of Temple Land (currently valued at about Rs.110.00 Crores) that was illegally allowed to be sold in the year 1994 by the "Temple Administration Board" of the @tnhrcedept

After many years of legal battle - the Court has now clearly declared that the auction of the temple lands to be illegal and has allowed restoration of the lands to the temple.

It is a shame that none of the media has reported this as more than 90 persons belonging to a minority community are now occupying the temple lands and have constructed houses and a mosque therein.

Not one newspaper - Not one news channel has reported this important and upright judgment of the Hon'ble Division Bench of Madras High Court.

How many of you knew this?

In the Meenakshi Amman Temple, there is a damaged Shiva Lingam located in the inner part of the temple. This Shiva Lingam was attacked with pickaxes by barbaric invaders during the assault on Madurai.

During the invaders’ campaign, the temple priests built a strong brick wall to completely hide the original Sundareswarar Lingam, smearing it with cow dung to make it appear as if nothing was there on the other side and giving it a moldy look.

They placed the current damaged Lingam idol in a way that made the invaders believe it was the real one. Believing this Lingam to be the original, the Muslim invaders desecrated it.

Under the leadership of Vijayanagara Empire’s prince Kumara Kampana (also known as Kamparaya), along with Gopanarya and Saluva Manga Raja, the expedition to Madurai defeated and killed the Sultan, liberating the temple after approximately forty-three years.

The temple priests removed the wall that had been built to conceal the original Lingam, performed renovation and consecration of the temple, and resumed the worship rituals.

Subsequently, the Nayak kings further expanded Meenakshi Amman’s temple, shaping it into the grand and magnificent structure it is today.
