#Botany2020 There is a strong evidence of pleiotropic effect by corolla, anther, and filament color. Also, a high marker association with chromosome 1 of those 3 traits in #Gilia . However, in the case of filament color, chromosome 8 is also involved in its genetic regulation.
Excited for this new paper with co-authors David Jarvis, @MaughanJeff@JosephDetemple@vmosquera7@LiZheng_Arizona @BarkerLab and Leigh Johnson. Gilia is an promising model for plant evo-devo and inflorescence evolution. https://t.co/xigp2msLO6
@LokiOfficial@wunmo@twhiddleston@disneyplus The finale was gloriously insane! But, I can’t get over such finale 😭 It will be hard to wait so long for season 2. Loki is my favorite character. Thanks TH, you are magnificent!
@Prof_GD_Foster For some minutes, you pulled my leg!. Even I search in Nature plants and nothing. After, I realized in "Natures plants" lol..well played!🤣🤣🤣
@awaicekhan I searched the paper in Nature Plants and checked the new evidence, and there was nothing, then I realized in "Natures plants" and, I understood that it is a joke, he pulled my leg!🤣🤣
@SaoirseT When you get the seeds, you can keep them for 6 months to sow them but if you want to sown before you should treat with Gibberellic acid (1500 ppm) for 48 hours for breaking dormancy
@SaoirseT Yes, you need to wait that fruits are very soft to extracts the seeds. You Just need a jar , water and towel paper! Each cherry maybe have between 200 to 250 seeds and each one is different to the other.
@Jadwiga_Sliwka Wooo....with the first picture looks as Premnotrypes vorax but Its larvae do not have legs. In the second pic I saw legs hence it could be a white grub. For sure this larvae belongs to order Coleoptera.
I am looking for a Postoc / PhD student to study adaptation of fungal species to wild tomato populations.

Native #potatoes keep a huge source of genes involved in quality traits such as, high dry matter content, low unreduced sugars and natural pigments as #carotenoids and #anthocyanins
@Sheril_ I would say this wasp is creepier than dementors because the wasp put one or two eggs and those feed from roach intestines while the roach is alive. Nevertheless, it is so cool for keeping balance in Nature
@singaporemacro I would say that roaches are not one of my favorite insects, but I feel sorry for them for one minute. Nature sometimes is creepy but predation mechanisms are quite effective. Thank for sharing I thought that only Evania sp can parasite roaches
