We are delighted to invite you to our premier cyber security conference, the 2024 Australasian Lab for Cyber Security Ideas (ALCSI).
This conference will bring together 20+ leading cyber security experts to discuss the following four themes:
1. Talent pipeline development - enabling the success of neurodiverse individuals as cyber security professionals
2. Management & C-suite responsibility and accountability for cyber security
3. Hardening human aspects - anti-phishing training and evaluation challenges & practices
4. Secure software supply chain for the security of critical infrastructure
Day 1 will be more focused on the above themes, providing a variety of guest talks and panel discussions. It features a breakfast event, supported by AustCyber, as well as post-networking drinks, hosted and supported by the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre.
Day 2 will offer a free workshop which will provide expert guidance for industry professionals on key knowledge areas such as blockchain network design, how to use applied AI tools, and how to evaluate big data infrastructures for mission systems.

😤Come on! Companies! Secure your system! Was victim of Optus #databreach, replaced drivers license&passport. Now again Medibank #cyberattack? Doubled damage🥺! If struggling with making #cyberthreats visible, our research projects may help! Find out at @crest_uofa & @CSCRCoz
Today, we welcome Prof. Joseph Liu from @MonashInfotech to CREST to give an exciting invited talk on #Cryptography in #Blockchain.
We also organised a networking session to continue the fruitful discussion on the latest advances & research opportunities in the area. #CRESTTalk
Excellent start to the @CSCRCoz symposium in Room A !!
@HussainAhmad_5 presented on C3I Systems' Security explaining several important findings from their #review of the literature

A well-motivated and wonderful presentation by @swornolota from @crest_uofa at @CSCRCoz about green AI and the use of deep AI in Security Operation Centers.
Looking for #dashboards solution to integrate into your project other than #powerbi#grafana#tableau? That's what you need, quickly prototype, evaluate, improve and implement the dashboard into your project!
Secure and resilient information interoperability is a challenge in a low-trust network-of-networks. At @crest_uofa, we explore the use of #Blockchain technology to address this challenge. Find out more at https://t.co/bW4fbvERr3
SE researchers r starting to highlight the importance of data quality 4 #ML. In our accepted paper at @msrconf, we identify the impact of mislabeled instances for #vulnerability learning, and show that noisy label learning improves performance @CroftRoland@alibabar@Huaming_Chen
Big news for CREST, 3 accepted full papers @msrconf#msr2022:
👉Noisy label learning for #security defects
👉Statement-level #software#vulnerability detection w/ graph #NeuralNetworks
👉Fine-grained vulnerable statements for vulnerability assessment
Congrats to all authors 🎉🥳
Suffering from invisible #cyberthreats in your organisation? Or maybe you are on the way to deal with #log4j exploiting? Did you also experienced #gitlab vulnerability last time?Want to avoid next wave #cybersecurity#cyberattacks? My research is what you need to “see” #threats!
Interested in capturing ever-changing security situations in organisations? Our #PhD student @williamjiangau'll present his #MajorReview tmr on automatic dashboard generation from diverse data sources 2 support #cyber situational awareness. @GradCentreUofA
