Sorry America 🇺🇸 it seems like democracy is falling apart. Basic rights of voting 🗳️ are attacked in multiple fronts as it seems. We have seen this in eastern europe, but with a little more sophistication, little more hiding.

Doing this, they are destroying core values and principles.

We are in a car travelling to the Founders Dinner in Munchen and it took like 20 minutes of brainstorming to come up with a technical design which is confidential, provable, works in any situation. You do not need to resolve all digitally, but a hybrid system.

Vote with ID, verified at entrance, in Romania is default, as is in majority of democratic countries (I think there are only a few outliers).

Voter gets to the machine, new key is generated, it is used to vote, it gives out a proof of what the user voted, but it can be revealed only after results.

All code in the machines is with fully transparent open source code, which gets compiled and deployed to all machines, through deployment of Smart Contracts in a blockchain.

All machines are in a private blockchain, independent verifiers can get access to it, only verified ones. After election every single thing is provable, every single vote.

Not so hard, it does not cost billions, it is doable, full history, provable states, no more forgery.

I would disagree on this. Saw the list of attacks in one of the replies. Most of those are resolved at protocol level on #MultiversX

Native assets for any kind of tokens.
MultiTransfer and execute atomically.
Readable TX data.
Permissionless on-chain Guardians/2FA for every account.
Re-entrancy prevension by design.
No approvals/permits and stuff which weakens security.
In-wallet dApp Store.
