@DePINConnection @gjordan @FliteGrid Wen @ROVR_Network interview with @danveral11?🤔

[Leo Wortley @WortleyLeo]

@aseidman strongly disagree here, @aseidman. Some of the most valuable time I’ve spent with family & friends has been on vacation. A time to get out of the normal routine, go somewhere exciting, do something out of the ordinary. 1 week is often not enough.

Vacation doesn’t always = relax

@MeijeSibbel @GEODNET How to hedge the token price volatility risk of running a #DePin mining business? Build your own app for your existing clients on top of the most solid project, get paid fiat.

A nice ‘deploy more hardware - earn more tokens - get paid fiat’ loop

@MeijeSibbel 👏👏👏

[Leo Wortley @WortleyLeo]

@DabbaNetwork is a disaster.

Waited 2+ years. Spent $300. Watch them launch at a $60 million FDV - incredible for current market conditions.

….and get $10 on launch, and a 2 year wait to recoup my $290.

Team deem these gripes to be ‘short term minded’ 😅

@MeijeSibbel @GEODNET @geortk_ @meije putting the G in DePIN

[Leo Wortley @WortleyLeo]

A DePIN protocol is NOTHING without supply.

Until a better approach is found, buyback & burn is the ONLY way to incentivise deployers.

Totally agree with @mikeahorton, @richhomiecon & @MeijeSibbel on this.

[Mike Horton @mikeahorton]

A thread on Buyback and Burn and why @GEODNET has used it from day 1. I believe automated, frequent, and small on-chain buybacks and burns are the best way to support a protocol. One consequence — this does NOT impact token price much in any short-term window. Moreover …

@BuckGup1108 @FN_DePIN @geodnet @mikeahorton @ROVR_Network @wingbits @solanamobile They ensured the phone was compatible with the Geodnet network from day 1, so rtk positioning is available to any developer building apps on seeker.

Any app that needs reliable, non-spoofable proof of location can get it instantly with the Geodnet SDK. Pretty awesome!

RT @FN_DePIN: @geodnet are crushing their targets for 2025. Huge thanks to @mikeahorton for running through:

@FN_DePIN @frahlg @srcful Much progress since the last episode 6 months ago - congrats @srcful for a huge end to 2024 and kicking off the new year with full charge⚡️🔋

@frahlg always a pleasure to chat.

[Leo Wortley @WortleyLeo]

I love seeing #DePIN founders so laser focused on business fundamentals.

@luckyluca and @AmbientNetwork are taking on an exciting challenge - rebuilding an established DePIN project from the ground up.

It was a pleasure to chat, and excited to see what 2025 brings for Ambient!

@aseidman @MeijeSibbel @DePINConnection This is potentially huge. Is it replicable across all geographies? Can the technology you’re using be replicated by other projects for positional accuracy?

Looking forward to seeing how you’ve achieved this! 💪Wen announcement?

[Leo Wortley @WortleyLeo]

@aseidman Haha cheers Ariel, I maintain it was intended less as a political style interrogation and more as a reference point for where we’ve come as a community 😅 a lot of fun though, look forward to the next one!

[Leo Wortley @WortleyLeo]

Loved how @aseidman shed light on the possibilities of MapAI. Truly mind blowing!

It’s 45 mins long, but use the timestamps to skip to the bit on Map AI / map features if short on time.

Defo worth a watch.

@web4O @aseidman By this standard, perhaps “how do your thoughts on your industry differ from your peers”? Or “what are your peers wrong about”?
