@BlossIsAPlant@SapphoSys It's very likely this is the ONLY way left to communicate with customers using the app without sending another update to Apple. Also the entire message is put in the title and not the body.
It's hard to not feel that Meta is the new "old" Microsoft (the Steve Balmer one) - a place that keeps people on their toes with layoffs.
Mark Zuckeberg announced layoffs... again, 6 months later. 10K people to be impacted in April and May.
Engineers I talk with are frustrated.
@drbarnard Ultimately it should be decided by the customers. In this specific case Apple could send an email to every single subscribers to ask them to make a choice. Doing it in the apps (which no longer work so nobody will check it) guarantees a small minority will see it.
@KrauseFx@nugmanofff It puts the current caller on hold and pick up the incoming call. At any point you can switch between callers seamlessly. It's a really obscure feature of mobile phones.
