The future of marketing is agentic. Yext makes it work.

On this weeks @theallinpod @chamath @davidsacks @jason spoke with Ben Horowitz from @a16z about how this buildout is different from the internet bubble buildout in the late 90s. Ben’s take is smart and he identifies a real difference. That doesn’t mean he’s correct. I spent some time thinking through HOW Ben might be wrong about this. NOT a prediction, but well worth discussing the risks.

@michaelpwalrath didn’t mince words on TOPLINE.

Joining a hot, billion-dollar startup right now? “It’s like buying a lottery ticket.”

Meanwhile, Yext went from breakeven to 31% EBITDA margins on an 80% gross margin business. Watch the full talk: https://t.co/bLhx4u7J81

My keynote at @yext Envision yesterday was a love letter to marketers, at a moment when everyone else is writing their obituary.

A room full of the best marketers in the world, trading ideas on what actually works. Our core belief: agents will play a huge role in the future of marketing, but not as big a role as MARKETERS. Tools always commoditize. Great marketers never do.

We took two big steps yesterday:
* Scout is now a multiplayer agent harness: marketing teams, partners, and agents doing their best work together, from the same shared context.
* And we're thrilled that @getflamel - @paul_ehlinger, @mattsichterman and team - will be joining Yext to build the future of paid local media with us.

One of the best days we've had at Yext in a long time. And we're just getting started.

[Yext @yext]

We're getting tired of this BS 🥱

[Yext @yext]

Today we're showing what happens when that harness goes multiplayer: one shared workspace where people and agents work toward the same goal, with the same context.

Here's how @organickrush is already putting it to work.

Yext has been building the pieces of a marketing harness for more than a decade. You know them as the Knowledge Graph, Scout, and our agents.

[Yext @yext]

🗣️Yext has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Flamel. 🔥

Scout shows where brands stand against local competitors. With Flamel, paid media will become another channel where teams and agents can take action.

Live from #YextEnvision: Scout now brings brand-level brand visibility together with location-level competitive intelligence. Marketers can see where they are and aren't showing up, what’s driving gaps, and take action across content, listings, reviews, local pages, and social.

[Yext @yext]

Small business owners don't have time to log into yet another platform to figure out which marketing tasks need to be done. That’s why we built Corvo AI, our AI marketing agent for small businesses.

Brands are buying agent solutions expecting growth. Most are getting productivity instead - more output, same results.

Agents execute. They don't have judgment and taste. Humans do that.

Today at Envision, @yext proudly announced the expansion of Scout as a multi-player agent harness built for marketers.

Marketing has always been a team sport, and now marketing teams can bring all the players, including agents, into a single collaborative and context aware workspace.

Tools and technology commoditize. Great Marketers and marketing do not. I couldn't be more bullish on the future of marketing.

Press release in comments.

Today at Yext HQ, we’re having the convos that usually happen behind closed doors: what boards expect from AI, what’s separating the winning brands, and where human judgment belongs when agents do the work. #YextEnvision

A branch locator sounds boring. Wells Fargo says it's one of the biggest wins on their roadmap.
