@synthwavedd Congrats — looks like you’ve been flagged and restricted by them too. I’m a GPT X20 subscriber, and just look at what they’ve done to my account. I haven’t violated any rules, and when I asked for a refund, they refused that too.
@thsottiaux@romainhuet@sama Hey @thsottiaux , can you please address the issue of paying users secretly being routed to degraded/dumber models first? I’m 10 days into my subscription and have only had 1 day of normal usage.
I think we should take a rational view of how technology evolves. Our approach is to build a framework — HMSD (Hierarchical Master-Slave Distributed) together with its supporting libraries, then give the requirements to AI and let it generate the control logic within that framework using those libraries.
Even if we don’t let AI generate programs automatically, it can still be used to review the logic and catch potential flaws and errors. After all, automation control software has far less tolerance for errors than most other software.
For CODESYS Base Libraries, Element Collections and Net Base Services are probably the two components users interact with the most.
Today I tested Element Collections in the new Base Libraries V5.0.
After spending some time with it, I found basically no improvement in the user experience. It’s still just as awkward and difficult to use as before.
The frustrating part is that, despite all that, you still have to use it.
@thsottiaux Hi Tibo, I really admire you. With a company like OpenAI that seems to have no ethical boundaries, I think it’s better to leave as soon as possible.
Hope Gemini 4.0 drops soon. If its coding can match Opus 5, that’s enough for me. I’m sick of OpenAI’s deceptive practice of secretly switching the models in users’ sessions.
@landiantech@thsottiaux The future of AI absolutely cannot be entrusted to a company that treats its customers this way. A company shaping technology this powerful should be held to a far higher standard of transparency, responsibility, and respect for its users.
@landiantech@thsottiaux OpenAI’s conduct is deeply disappointing and unacceptable. A company cannot keep charging customers while failing to provide the service they paid for, then make the experience even worse through opaque and frustrating practices.
