I met @venturetwins today! Awarded Best VC Ever by @OpenAI
Two weeks ago, I’d made a #Sora2 video of Justine writing a million-dollar cheque for my startup @arai_labs
It was just a fun, bold experiment.
A sort of “visual pitch” for what we’re building with Magic Lamp, our AI video studio.
Fast-forward to today.
After a 17-hour flight from India with my cofounder, @raiabhinav93, we spotted her in the crowd at the event.
The same person from that video, except this time, she was actually there.
I froze for a second.
Then thought, screw it. What’s the worst that could happen?
Walked up, told her the story behind that Sora video.
Showed it to her right there.
She smiled.
We talked about AI video, storytelling, and the magic of creative tech.
For a second, the video became real.
(Except the million-dollar cheque part 🤣)
That moment felt surreal.
I still don’t know where this will go, but that tiny leap made the whole day worth it.
Sometimes, your imagination knocks on reality’s door.
And reality opens it.
Now I get why people say Come to SF, your life will change.
Thank you @a16z for making @Techweek_ happen 🫶
Dayflow was built to be local-first, private and LLM agnostic.
You can use local LLMs, or bring your ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini sub.
It's open source (6k+✨), so you can adapt it for secure personal and enterprise use.
Check it out at dayflow [.] so
This is a new paradigm for interacting with Claude that is significantly more "inline" with all the other human activity org-wide. Once you do all of the under the hood engineering work to make this "just work" (e.g. across tools, integrations, compute environments, memory, security, etc.), Claude basically joins the team in a seamless way - you can talk to it as you would talk to a person and it can help with a very large variety of workloads.
Imo this is the 3rd major redesign of LLM UIUX. The first paradigm was that the LLM is a website you go to, the second was that it is an app you download to your computer. This third one is that it is a self-contained, persistent, asynchronous entity with org-wide tools and context, working alongside teams of humans. It really takes a while to wrap your head around it, but it works and it is awesome.
Today I'm publishing a new essay, Policy on the AI Exponential. AI is progressing extremely fast—much faster than the policy process was built to handle. The essay lays out where I think the technology is now, and the action needed to close the gap: https://t.co/Lh6PWae178
Brands love their users but burn 💸 trying to reach them, competing against big-brand ad budgets on @Meta and @Google.
We're building AI that personalizes every user journey for small brands so the best product wins, not the biggest wallet.
This is the problem we'd love your help with, @sama.

talked to a bunch of current YC batch founders today
The ones hitting $1m+ ARR (there are several this batch) are just ripping the same outbound playbook every time:
1. build your lead lists using tools like Origami or Clay
2. Run an auto-connect + DM sequencer on LinkedIn
3. aim for 200 connects/week. linkedin is a goldmine
4. when writing Linkedin DMs, send 2-sentences, ideally with a warm thread (shared school, mutual, etc)
5. Post on LinkedIn 5x/wk minimum
6. get good at AEO (yes, you can get results in a few weeks )
Spend 20 hrs/wk doing this properly, and you will start consistently booking demos
