Step 2: Build an audience/community. You'll get clearer on what/how to build the product.

Step 3: Find gaps in competitors products

Step 4: Craft a product or service that solves real headaches, not just nice-to-haves.

Step 5: Rank your business ideas. Use the Pain vs. Frequency measure: Which problems are severe and come up often?

There you have it.

Sometimes finding the right startup ideas is harder than it seems.
