Talk to yourself and others positively.

Some examples of how we talk negatively and what can be the positive alternative.

Don’t eat on the couch.
Eat at the table.

Don’t be late.
Leave early.

Don’t forget your keys.
Keep your keys properly.

Don’t make mistakes in exam.
Slow down and check properly.

Don’t lose your temper.
Pause before responding.

Don’t get distracted.
Stay with the task.

Don’t worry.
Focus on what you can control.

Don’t compare.
Focus on your progress.

Don’t just tell your mind what to avoid.
Tell it where to go.

Give your mind a destination, not a danger.

Every habit has a cost.

The only question is when you will pay it.

Good habits charge you first.

Discipline.
Effort.
Patience.

The reward comes later.

Bad habits reward you first.

Comfort. Convenience.
Instant pleasure.

The bill arrives later, with interest.

Nothing is free. The cost is simply delayed.

Pay the price of discipline today, or the price of regret tomorrow.

Every habit collects its dues. Choose your payment date.

[Psychodoctor @Psychodoctor06]

We often romanticize the path we did not take in life.

The career we didn't choose.
The person we didn't marry.
The opportunities we let go.

Our mind quietly edits out the struggles that path would have brought and compares its imagined perfection to the real difficulties of the life we are living.

It is a psychological defense.

Believing the other path would have been easier is an escape from the current painful reality.

Every meaningful path comes with its own price.

The question isn't whether you chose the perfect road.

The road not taken isn't your problem.

Looking back instead of moving forward is your problem.
