@AndrewMooreMD @borykea Congrats on this great publication, Andrew. Really interesting data on the potential benefit of ambulatory cardiac monitoring for ED patients with unexplained syncope.

Excited to share our research on for-profit involvement in EM GME.
We found a large rise in the number for-profit affiliated EM programs over the past 5 years.
In addition, for-profit affiliated EM programs paid residents almost $4000 LESS than non-profit affiliated programs!
Hard to see Roanoke City on this map, but we fall into the 12-49 female EM physicians per 100,000 population. Our group at carilion clinic is ~ 60% female.
@schnappadap @dickens_jc I agree. My rank list was heavily influenced by which groups of residents I clicked with during social events. You cannot replicate that via zoom.
@VTCEMResidency congratulates all of the newly matched EM residents! You are going to to do amazing things in your career and the specialty of EM. We can’t wait to work with you. #MatchDay2021#RAMSMatch#whyvtcem#carilionclinic https://t.co/kMyZnl5s5m
