Following the indictments by the Hon’ble Punjab State Human Rights Commission and the explicit directives issued by the State Police Complaints Authority (SPCA), a formal Legal Notice-cum-Demand for Justice has been officially sent today via Speed Post upon the DGP Punjab & the Principal Secretary (Home Affairs).

The notice demands the immediate registration of a criminal FIR against the 3 primary indicted investigating officers under Sections 166A, 217, 218, and 120-B IPC, alongside the invocation of Rule 2.2(b) of the Punjab Civil Services Rules to freeze their pensionary benefits and departmental action against the remaining 4 officials.

The tactics have changed with time and the violations continue. See the posts on my profile for details.

Nowdays such elements use delay, dilute, destroy the families emotionally, financially with false cases, targeting women in the families.

9 police officers from a single police have been recommended for legal and departmental action by state human rights and information commission yet the seniors are shielding them and providing a pathway to enjoy state funded retirements after destroying families and lives. What a joke of law, order and democracy!!

movie clearly only talks about human rights violation and police excess.

Rather one of the criticism of the movie was that it skips the 'khalistan' point of discussion in context of 90s punjab.

From 2021 to 2026 - The case gets transferred to more than 20 police officers. Seven police officers have been indicted by Punjab State Human Rights Commission (Legal and departmental action) and Punjab State Information commission is awaiting departmental action report against 2 more police officials. Total of 9 police officers from a single police station, PS Sohana. Plus, a complaint against DIG Bhullar registered by Vigilance Bureau after @CBIHeadquarters intervention.

Who is causing the delay to harass & persecute us while putting flower garlands around the neck of an officer who framed us and many others in false cases and later got arrested by Vigilance Bureau in August 2025. The courts are still seeking prosecution sanction against him since his arrest in 2025.

The @PressCouncil_IN took suo moto cognizance against the same officer in 2021 for beating up, torturing a journalist and filing false cases. Criminal proceedings still pending...

What a great track record befitting a ceremonial retirement ! And a huge boost to the MORALE of the PUNJAB POLICE at the cost of citizens livelihood !!

However, just like the case below no action is being taken. Similar reminders will be sent to @DGPPunjabPolice for eons until his retirement while we suffer endlessly. Had it not been your intervention even this complaint would not have been registered. We do not expect the State to do anything in this case as well. Its just HOPELESS !!
