@ProtheanInst@Thejimpenman Justify the conclusion: Your bullets can be summarized "gov has lots of money, (relative to the world and history) but we can't afford our consumptive spending". How does this prove violation of role? what is the govs role/mandate? How much money should it take?
@techfeedapp I work on similar systems. Specifically my undergrad focused on microcontrollers, but professionally I work with industrial robotics. I agree in those types of environments quick startups would help, as these machines usually perform simple repeated tasks. Followed!
@ProtheanInst@TopherField Disagree. state geography used to define our social/gov boundaries. We still didn't she. With tech these boundaries have become arbitrary. The lesson is the same though - form groups that have their independence and are similar, unify groups with larger but weaker structure.
@CarstenKO1@JulianRoepcke Totally agree the documentation is missing. It's also relevant battlefield information. I guess I just don't expect that level of technical detail from X, or anywhere really. Not ready for the rigor that analysis would require.
@CarstenKO1@JulianRoepcke What about the done that hit yekaterinburg? Did it not fly through russia for hours? Russian cities are getting hit. I assume Russia would stop that if it could. Therefore, Russia is not defending against drones as well as it would like. Likely they fly for hours undetected.
@elonmusk Disagree, Always felt like its a plain ol 'cap' vs the black of the tiles: Lines showing the mix between physics and engineering. Gorgeous.
Initially didn't like the skirt removal, felt too exposed. But the raptor 3 is just a beautiful peace of engineering, love seeing it.
@Mimi88847@NomadWireless2@thatksenia I recommend to all my friends, "you gotta import that shit". But I don't specify a country. People are too different, and so much the same. Explore the world, romantically, physically, you'll be enlightened.
@CMCollins01@GeneralFusion I don't think so either. The article says their latest is 'commercially relevant' and the goal of the just built reactor: ultimately net energy in plasma. A long way from net commercial gain. I like the design concept, but i worry there are too many physically moving parts.
@Inanis_speculum@GeneralFusion@Fusion_Industry From the article, "Upon closing, the Proposed Business Combination is expected to result in General Fusion listing on the Nasdaq and trading under the ticker symbol “GFUZ”."
@Amystreet This is the society we signed up for. Wrapped ourselves in 'proper behavior,' stopped trying to understand each other, to inquire, and to accept. Now everyone runs to the easiest right answer because being yourself is risky, or at least not optimized to achieve... anything.
@lynchzilla @Ellieinspace @SpaceX True. Even 5-10 years would be ridiculous. However, I suspect they'll get it much sooner than that. I base that on past performance. I did not expect to catch a skyscraper nearly as quickly as they did.
@darkacademician Because, as your post shows, talent and education is secondary to the bureaucracy. Those preqreqs don't add much in the way of value, and even if they do, the value of putting a talented person in a spot suitable for their extraordinary talents is worth it.
