Stay tuned for the irregular cycles movement!!!🚨
We wrote a piece for Nature Medicine!
Menstrual cycle irregularities can be both cause and consequence of wide-ranging health issues. Embracing this complexity could reveal novel brain–body interactions and advance neuroscience.
“Nuclear facilities must never be attacked,” @iaeaorg chief stresses following Israeli strikes on Iran.
“Such attacks have serious implications for nuclear safety, security and safeguards, as well as regional and international peace and security.”

How can 2C-B 💊contribute to psychedelic neuroscience, an otherwise "forgotten" psychedelic? We went off with @singletonion ,@NL_Mason , @sattertt and Jan to take an initial look at this using 7T resting state fMRI. 👇

5 years ago, on the heels of 28andMe, our team designed a new precision imaging experiment: scanning an individual’s brain throughout her entire pregnancy. We are excited to share that these findings are out today in @NatureNeuro! https://t.co/NfbCsSigXn
I am often invited to review papers on deep learning for medical images. Unfortunately many papers do the same mistake; they split data into training/validation/test on the slice/image/patch level instead of on the patient level. This will lead to inflated test scores, as images from the same patient then can appear in both training and test sets. Since these images can be very similar, the network will perform extremely well on the test images.
If you use 2D networks on 3D data, the 2D slices have to be split on the patient level, not on slice level.
If you use 2D networks on a dataset where each patient has several 2D images, the images have to be split on the patient level, not on image level.
If you use deep learning for digital pathology, the patches have to be split on the patient level, not on patch level.
