It's easy to make minor adjustments such as shifting to table talk when there's too much me time, or when students don't seem to be working on what I expected them to work on. @mikedteacher "Sold" is a great book, but I worry that it is not comfortable for all students. I wonder if "Twisted" might not be a better example of what not to do online - especially as that is where a lot of the problems stem from. #edtechchatwsuv

@eun5124 @randireed889 That's definitely a concern. Covering what is okay to say online, and being good digital citizens by being respectful to one another, is as important as knowing how to protect themselves and their information. #edtechchatwsuv

@Mr_Blystone I haven't thought deeply about this. I think pen-names might be appropriate if I were asking students to publish their writing in a publicly available space. I also think the different share settings on Google Suite can be great for controlling who they share with.#edtechchatwsuv

@Mr_Blystone A3: We just got GoGuardian and I really like how I can have private conversations with students when they have a question or need some guidance. I don't really like the closing tabs on students feature, I see that as becoming a game for them... #edtechchatwsuv

@mirandaelliott0 I figured out how to make reveal-on-click text in powerpoint and made my own Family Feud game with student surveys as data. They loved it! Team-based competition and gamification is really engaging. #edtechchatwsuv

@Mr_Blystone I still want to get Fibbage for that "school is kind of cancelled and/or everybody is out on the band field trip" day. It's educational in that students are being exposed to new words, but it's a fun game that integrates personal devices. #edtechchatwsuv
